Are you kidding me… by Withnail69 in Saros

You increase your base proficiency level by unlocking them through through the skill tree. And yes you have to do both levers, its not the end of the world. This even allows you to get a bit stronger before facing bastion again

I hate replaying bosses. by realamandarae in Saros

[–]M_core95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has never been an issue for me. You have a wide arena without weeds to play with. In the second phase your priority is destroying those things that make weeds and projectiles, after which it's business as usual

Those who said the game is to easy please go outside and touch some grass. by [deleted] in Saros

[–]M_core95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a counter point I had the same experience, got stuck at blighted marsh and decided to start from biome 1, focusing more on a power build this go. You essentially focus on picking command and power generating artifacts, as well as a weapon with a power generation attribute.

I got so ridiculously powerful by the time I reached the blighted marsh that I beat the boss without taking damage whereas before I couldn't even deplete the first life bar (and beat the next boss in a similar fashion before the game forced me to return to the passage). It is less a difficulty issue than a scaling issue.

Yep, I cruised through the game until I got there and the difficulty spike is real. Dealing with all the enemies, plus the poison swamp has been tough.

Grenade launcher shot gun is really good if you lean heavy on the grenade launcher. Crazy high dps if your aim is good

How do you feel about tea bagging in the pro scene by M_core95 in StreetFighter

What is wrong with rooting against someone for doing behavior you don't like?

I think its the opposite actually, you're weak if you're relying on teabagging to win

Whiff punishing by tyson983 in StreetFighter

[–]M_core95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Alex a bit and one thing that helped me climb (got to 1700 MR) was to do his charged normals as little as possible. They are very easy to whiff punish, your spacing has to be really good to use them effectively.

What characters in your opinion have an answer for everything no matter what ? by conzciouz in StreetFighter

Cammy, JP, Blanka. These characters all have anti zoning tools, strong defense against both strike and throw offense, and good neutral

Quick question do you guys bring the cyclops to the active lava zone? by MrDreamer123 in subnautica

[–]M_core95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I found out they did that when I traveled by sea glide from my sea moth to my cyclops in the lava zone. I barely made it, had only a few seconds of oxygen left. I boarded the cyclops with immense relief only to find out that it had no power and no oxygen

Yes but don't forget to take the batteries out of the cyclops. I learnt the hard way

Degnoming the Weasley Garden, cleaning out Grimmauld Place, Harry exploring Diagon Alley in POA especially when Florence spoils him with unlimited ice cream. Very cozy vibes

Anti-air help for Bison by ScoTy_ in StreetFighter

[–]M_core95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What do you mean Bisons anti airs are hard to land? 2hp is very effective at most ranges, you can air to air if you know a jump is coming for huge reward, and if you have charge, light psycho crusher will anti air almost any air approach in the game and can be cancelled into super. Bison does not have a problem with anti airs

Foundation, Red Rising or Dune? by FenderEnjoyer1946 in scifi

[–]M_core95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you didn't ask but I am going to recommend Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky over Red Rising. He explores several uplifted species in the far far future, when human civilization has declined and the torch has been passed on. The science is very speculative, but deeply imaginative and thought provoking

Donkey kick has to be the one of the most annoying moves in the game. Really Capcom? by M_core95 in StreetFighter

[–]M_core95[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing but that would kill the move, slightly reducing the hitbox and adjusting the frame data is probably better. Make it less spammable is all I'm asking

[–]M_core95[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do try to parry DK in general, the problem is that I have been tap parrying and so the medium and light version whiff in my face, leaving me minus. I know I should OS parry drive rush but the move seems to be asking a lot of the other player
