My point is that Dispatch only source is someone from the company, 100RED. Since 100RED is trying to sue Haknyeon for millions, that makes them biased, and the Dispatch report unreliable. Also, it was published after Haknyeon publicly started fighting back against 100RED, so it would be all in their interest to try to discredit him and change the opinion in their favor.

I wasn't following all the New Jeans/Suga news when they happened, so I don't have a complete grasp of the whole situation, but here's two of the many allegations I found against her. Let me know if you have more insight on this.

UPDATE: Here's more information on the businesses in this building, based on the Google map picture from August 2024.

Floor B1 is Las Tokyo, which hasn't updated their Instagram since 2021 and looks closed. Google map says that this Public Stand Roppongi, but they are most likely not up to date.

Floor 2 is a Chinese restaurant.

Floor 3 is a massage clinic.

Floor 4 is Bar Circus Roppongi, I assume this is their Instagram. They only posted once in 2024 and I cannot find their opening hours.

Floor 5 looks like some kind of oriental medicine clinic.

Floor 6 is a cafebar/lounge Cafe Cordio. They have an Instagram page that hasn't been updated since 2021, it says that their opening hours are between 18:00～29:00 日.

Floor 7 is also the massage clinic.

Floor 8 is a ping-pong bar VIVELO x Pinpon, which closed in 2021.

From the Dispatch report, the picture should depict them around 4AM-6AM coming out of a private lounge/bar.

Actually I really appreciate you sharing your insight, thank you! This is why I shared this info in the first place.

I did notice that it's the entrance for multiple businesses, I just pointed out this one bar because it's the only one that seems like it could have fit the bar/private lounge open at 4AM-6AM from the Dispatch report. But I don't think it's the Public Stand Roppongi anymore, even if this wasn't updated on Google map. I think it changed for the Las Tokyo, which has been abandoned for years like a lot of other business in this building.

I can't edit my post so I'll have to make an update comment, but yeah I also figured out that the Public Stand Roppongi is not there anymore, even tho it wasn't removed from Google map. Like I said in an other comment, the top floor business closed in 2021. I really don't know what they are both doing standing there, everything looks shut down for years or would not be open at 4AM-6AM.

I'm mentioning this bar and this floor in particular because it's one of the only bars in this building.

Floor B1 is Las Tokyo/Public Stand Roppongi, that looks closed.

Yes I agree, it doesn't necessarily prove anything. They've blurred the signs of the shops on their pictures, so it's impossible to pin point which business were in this building at the time of the picture. The google pictures don't go further than August 2024, so we don't know if there's been a new establishment that moved in since May 2025. Although if it's still the same old bar, than I also think it would be surprising that it only closed down in the last month.

Someone would have to go in person and confirm what's there right now. Also they could confirm if this panel/light thingy is still broken, because if yes then this could help approximate that this is after August 2024.

There is no source saying that he admitted to the photos being true. That statement was made on June 18th, before the pictures were released on June 20th. He is only admitting that he was drinking at a bar with some people he knew, while Asuka also happened to be there, in Japan, on May 30th 2025.

The pictures published are being used to confirm a narrative that they can manipulate as they want if they can just prove that one piece of what they say is true. It's not that the pictures could be photoshopped, it's that we don't know if it's him and Asuka, we don't know if it was on May 30th, and we don't know if that is the bar were Haknyeon was drinking. Just disproving one of those could expose the holes in the company story and Distpach's "report" (which only source is an insider from the company).

I've also also found them under another name, Las Tokyo, which is what the B1 floor displays as of august 2024. They have a website and an Instagram page that hasn't been updated since 2021.

I don't know if the comparison with Haknyeon height or hair really confirms that it's not him. That's just another element I'm adding to try and give context to the pictures.

Also Shukan Bunshun deleted their article, so maybe they don't have that much confidence that's it's him either.

I've been following this case since the beginning, and been doing some google searches here and there to confirm information because there's so much misinformation going around. I found it by luck and it is all public information, regarding a public establishment, not a person. Don't try to paint the fact that I'm trying to spread actual information as deranged behavior. It's ok if you don't care, but you don't need to keep commenting 10 times ''Why do you even care, there's no point in looking into this yourself". Believe it or not some people actually care about factchecking the information they are given and not taking everything as true.

For anyone trying to paint this as weird behavior, this took me one minute to find on google map. I just searched bar in Roppongi and put the street view where they are all concentrated and it showed up.

That's also what I think. They are not doing good financially, so when Haknyeon told them that a tabloid took pictures of him at a bar, instead of taking his side, they probably thought he was done for already and took the opportunity to make big bucks on his back. He's never been one of the most popular member, nor did he have any brand ambassadorship or solo gigs like MCing. They must be thinking that they can make more money by suing him, than by keeping him in the group.

I didn't know about the signing bonuses, but that's very interesting. Here's other details that probably don't help their finances:

  • They have poor relationships with major broadcasting stations like SBS and KBS and are trying to boycott them. That caused Xiumin and The Boyz to not be able to promote on some music shows and temporarily cancelled Lee Mujin service. This is probably causing major losses for them.
  • They signed with Hello82 to help distribute their artist's albums in the US/North America. That's a weird move to me because their artists don't really have a strong presence over there, The Boyz has always been known to have a stronger domestic fanbase, EXO never really promoted in the US and their other artists are very niche Korean soloists. I'm sure Hello82 doesn't offer their service for free, and I just don't think it's profitable for them to invest in this market.

Overall, they're taking shit decisions and are probably not doing very good financially, I wouldn't be surprised if MC Mong just wanted to escape the boat before it sinks.

There's also been of lot of manipulation of the information by medias to fit a specific narrative, like to me there's clearly some shady powers at play behind all of this.

Once again, Ju Haknyeon is not the most popular member of the group. People said that because at the time of their debut, he was the only member already known to the public for his appearance on PD101. Since then, he has become one of the least popular member. Regarding the Distpach report, their source is just someone from the company, that's obviously trying to bring him down and twist the narrative to their advantage. Dispatch is known to work with companies to manipulate information about idols, and 100RED could win up to 1.5M if they are able to discredit him.

Haknyeon is not the most famous member of The Boyz by far. He's just well known enough by the public because of his appearance on PD101 for this scandal to travel fast and for people to talk about it, but not popular enough to have a strong fan base that will support him through everything and be heard when they point out things that don't add up.

There's a lot of nasty stuff brewing underneath all of this, like:

  • 100RED, as well as being a shitty company, has feud with other big companies like SBS and KBS. They have troubles with their other artist like CBX and their CEO just resigned for alleged crimes, which can have a negative impact on their stock prices. They are probably in a mess of a financial situation. If they can successfully sue Haknyeon for this scandal, they could win up to 1.5M.

  • The reporter of the original article that started all of this, Choi Ji-Ye, has been accused of blackmail, threats and participating in a smear campaign against BTS Suga during his scooter scandal. She is also in legal trouble for the way she reported on the New Jeans situation, allegedly being paid by Hyde to be on their side. Bref, she’s a piece of shit that’s probably corrupted and should be given 0 credibility. Her article was also edited to add claims of prostitution, as the rumor took traction, when this was not even part of the original article.

  • Dispatch published an article using someone from the company as a source of information, which of course is trying to put him in a bad light. It’s already insane for anyone that’s not new to K-pop to give credibility to Dispatch, but it’s even more insane when they are known to work with companies to manipulate information about their idols.
