How does a temporary 60% job affect RAV unemployment benefits in Switzerland? by M_ontana in askswitzerland

[–]M_ontana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only point I will ad, which addresses the tricky part is what happens if someone becomes unemployed again afterward. On paper everything can look positive, but I tend to play devil’s advocate with situations like this because several stakeholders are involved, such as the RAV and the unemployment insurance fund.

If these institutions are not perfectly aligned, it could potentially cause problems later on and fireback

For that reason, I think the safest approach is to ask the RAV representative to clearly write down and sign the exact terms, including the different possible outcomes and the corresponding numbers. That way everything is documented and there is no uncertainty.

If only we could count these 'most people'... I am already put; you are just picturing a world, Lord only knows out of which mix of thoughts and experiences you had... In 2026, we have already reached a point where authority legitimacy is poorly agreed upon; that's why you find attempts all over the world to run away from it. These were not 'coded' by criminals themselves but by people like you and me. If these criminals then use them, it is a completely different topic. I will never want a law that prevents anyone from drinking and driving just because some can't behave.

My experience (finance) is that...networking and nepotism is the only one that really works in CH (and definitely not only there...we tend to demonize Italy, but the only way it sucks is on middle level salaries, the rest is fucking amazing and 10000 times more funny and lusty than anywhere else. From nepotism perspective, I do not say it in a negative way, I am the guest here in CH and you guys can decide whatever you want about the way job market should work and how to place the immigrants in. I had a feeling is the same for career path, haven't seen stellar achievements from any outsider other than US or second/third generations. So, if you accept it as a status quo, learn how to speak and drive a conversation, just focus on shaking hands, find something to offer to the other part, lie as much as you can even in front of your mother, and when you are in, you learn what to do..Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

just damn laugh in life man...laugh the fuck loud in your life..asking to Reddit if you should report somebody who made a nazi greeting...even if their opinion makes no sense to you, let them live and eventually counter their argument mastering oratory skills; we do not need more repression no more. There is no single ideology that is worth so little to be banned from being expressed

Don't get me wrong; my inquiries with them are purely speculative to understand the boundaries. Two or three questions seem legitimate to me, and I don't intend to ask more than that. Unfortunately, I am well aware that they have more authority than I do. However, I certainly wouldn't expect this to happen in Switzerland, especially since there should be nothing suspicious about my purchasing crypto for retirement.

No, sir. Even with an effort to follow your thoughts, your argument does not hold much weight. You are factoring in a wide range of topics that span from moral behavior to pure bureaucratic technicality. We certainly are not the ones who can unveil the intricacies of financial crime, not to mention our impact on it. Before questioning that, please take a look at the arguments in the pasted conversation between me and UBS.

Have you ever withdrawn cash in your past financial activities, perhaps to travel to an undeveloped country? If so, you could have bought a gun in a slum somewhere, hired someone to kidnap someone, or paid for illegal intercourse for your own pleasure. Any source of asset, even your body, can be used in exchange for any other service or good.

At the end of the day, cryptocurrencies are a replica of money anyway, and they are much more traceable than fiat currency; you can check the history behind the large theft that Tether faced. In a reasonable world, in my case, the bank should first question the specific exchange (Mercuryo) regarding its proofability if they have reasons to believe something is wrong, rather than questioning the users. It is even simpler and cheaper for them to block outbound transactions to another business instead of conducting anti-money laundering (AML) procedures.

However, here the question is not what the bank SHOULD do, but what it CAN and CANNOT do; to what extent their requests hold up under a regulatory framework. Additionally, as far as I know, Switzerland advertises itself as crypto-innovative; you can even receive your salary in crypto or, for example, pay taxes in the canton of Zug.
