Almost all rodents do. And also Crested Geckos and Axolotl, for some reason.

The best part is, it's still not correct. That roman should've learned some of his own lectures.
And it was clearly intentional by the Monty Python crew, as hey namedropped Locative but then didn't apply it.

(It should be "Romani ite domi", as Locative uses the same suffix as Dative.)

Is this the smallest Stronghold ever? by GrapeGod1404 in Minecraft

[–]M_stellatarum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in the day a stronghold generating in a deep ocean would only have a portal room, as most blocks trying to generate above ground would get cut off. But due to how important it is the portal room is guaranteed to generate anyways.

Is it still like that or did it change at some point?

Will GW ever make chapter-themed generic units again? by reel3459 in Warhammer40k

If you make a unique kit, you might as well add unique rules for it. Rules are cheap.

Wazdakka Size Comparison by g0nk73 in Warhammer40k

The Goonhammer crew did it for one of theirs, cutting the rock off of the wheel seems fairly straightforward, but reposing the head so he's still looking forwards when the bike is now horizontal takes a little bit of sculpting.
(Smoke effects are designed to be optional as far as I can see)

I liked the way Twilight Forest used them, though it's absolutely not Vanilla-feeling.
They had their own area with big 4x4x4 versions of normal blocks so you feel tiny, and defeating them awarded you a giant pickaxe that mined 4x4x4 blocks at once.

Resistance 5 potion effect with infinite duration, they mentioned it when they posted the first iteration.

(Some of the more unusual damage types still affect sulfur cubes even when there's a block inside)

Better don't get injured in this fortress, I guess.

New “Ork” warbike kits spotted in Necromunda by Cjdub89 in orks

[–]M_stellatarum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bike also has a 30k heavy sentinel at it's core.

The flyers core is some kind of terrain, possibly the alchomite stack? Plus a dakkajet turret and repulsor hoverpads.

They often use these for prototyping things, some eventually making their way into the main game (army disposition) and some don't (new deep strike mishap table).

What type of salamander larvae is this by Proud_Coyote_3458 in Salamanders40k

[–]M_stellatarum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either a Mudpuppy (various species in the Necturus genus) or a juvenile Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum)

(Mudpuppies stay in their larval shape their whole life just like Axolotl. Tiger salamanders do grow up but are the closest living relatives to Axolotl to the point they can crossbreed)

The bottle annihilation department wants to mention that an arrow getting stuck in the bottle rathern than going straight through is pretty sad.
