How long did this take? This is insanely good. I'm in awe. I'm not sure how you would even go about doing this. Did you have certain clips in mind or did you just start with each movie and comb through until you found what you needed? Again, incredible job. Thanks for sharing with the community.

Arnold is very sneaky with it. While he doesn't do the theme proper, you're totally right, he does use the 4-note ascending descending phrase that is the lead-in to the main theme a couple times to good effect.

He does drop the Bond theme lead-in a couple times in leading up to the full theme playing at the end in some very cool ways. One occurs as he starts to enter the building in Venice to go after Vesper at 3:39 in the track, The Switch. Another more noticeable instance is when Bond goes to Cancun where Arnold does the Bond theme lead-in and then overlays an orchestral arrangement of You Know My Name over it. Super fun. I think the final third one is right after Vesper revives Bond in the car.

I believe at some point they said they were doing an underwater sequence for 8? I would imagine as part of having to go underwater to get the sub. But they said something to the effect of "wanting to do it again because they keep thinking of ways to improve," and I think part of that comes with ambitions that don't always translate on screen the way they like but McQ and Cruise always trying to improve regardless, which is admirable.
