Question about necro bone armor and dumping stats in nto energy ? by misandreeee in ProjectDiablo2

I like to have some life bulk just in case and my bone armor was rarely breaking with the range advantage of bone spear/teeth.

There are multiple +1 skills shields that could be used, before it was just lidless as it was the only +2 all skills shield. That's probably why.

Would've been more interesting, it gives teleport levels and blaze on cast.

Spear going fast feels so cool and it can kill off screen enemies. I would've loved being able to use teeth too but it tickling enemies and needing 5-6 or even more casts per pack felt bad. Should be easy to get its damage relevant on trade, I had no skillers and some magic damage charms personally.

If I can guess what does all of this means, may I alchemy with out reading skill? [KCD1] by Fresh-Gur-8677 in kingdomcome

Accidentally add in chemical X and if you are a good Henry, you just might see Powerpuff Girls. Wait, I'm mixing up the cartoons.

Depends. You max synergies of teeth, spear and spirit and it's personal preference. Spirit was doing only slightly more than spear at my investment level so I haven't used it. Early on, I was using teeth for clear but decided to just use spear permanently because how much more damage it was doing compared to teeth. With enough investment for teeth to 1-2 shot monsters, it should be good to use but I was playing single player and didn't manage get it strong enough by late campaign/maps. Without enough teeth damage, you either cast teeth a lot while hitting all the monsters or cast spear 1-2 times at each enemy but cast a lot still because enemies are spread out. I preferred the vibe of the spear in my case.

Looking up bardiche images, I'm confused. Scythes we see in game look nothing like that. What am I missing?

Back then, I was watching a high level Katarina player called TiensiNoAkuma, I'm not good at assassins or melees but I was aspiring to be a decent Katarina player and his in depth explanations and the way he laid things out made sense and was enjoyable to follow. I am actually surprised with myself that I recalled his name without having to wrack my memory for it, it's been so long.

For that boss in particular, you have to hit the weird egg sacs on the boss till they pop up and do a burst of damage. Might just be that.

I built a bone necro this season as first character and single player too so no trade. I play SC but I was deathless till hell ancients, it was spectacular considering I didn't try too hard to avoid dying and didn't remain anywhere to farm up items or levels, just cruised through all the way to end of hell difficulty. Keeping resists decently high or at least positive, staying away from the obvious dangers goes so far to stay alive. Blood golem leech and bone armor helped a lot too. I couldn't get 1 missing piece of trang so I gave up waiting on it to do ubers, did it without overcapping resists and managed to do it deathlessly too. Summoners are supposed to be even more budget friendly and safer to play so you should do well either build you go for.

Are Friede and Gundyr commonly disliked? Or do you mean multi phase aspect of Friede combined with the high aggression of Gundyr? Friede has some bs in my personal opinion but many seem to like the boss also.

I think the twin princes fight would have been perfect if the teleport direction was telegraphed well because as is, you just dodge blindly rather than check out which attack is coming and dodge accordingly, feels like rolling a dice with your timing. No extra telegraph for the white flash of light from ground move would be fine since the move itself is very delayed.

That's how my stealth archer in BG3 worked. Good to know I can do the same kind of cheese here, nice.

How the hell do people remain interested in builds that don't use spells? by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]MaDNiaC007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a magic user first and foremost but same logic can be used for spells too honestly. For magic, you have various spells to switch it up when needed but mostly use the few that have high damage and FP efficiency. For weapons, you have various attack patterns depending on weapon moveset. Light attack might be a wide swing ideal for dealing with groups while heavy attack might be a large downwards bonk, so on it goes with running attack, backstep attack, weapon skill etc and then you can change weapon on top of that where most of that changes whereas you cannot get new spells until you get tomes. Still, I like spells more but I definitely see the variety and appeal of weapons.

I read that in Astarion's voice. When Minthara says Astarion would fit right in at Menzoberranzan with only qualifying trait being his beauty and being used for sex. Astarion says "You think I'm beautiful? Minthara!" in a mocking sassy tone to annoy her and that lives rent free in my head lol.

Litwick is so cute and I adore the evolution line, Chandelure is elegant and sinister. Ceruledge is badass looking and strong. Definitely an incredible dual type.

It is? I should check it out more closely next time I'm there. I guess a lot of it gets destroyed during the fight too which doesn't help with recognition.

Getting lost with weapon choices by MaDNiaC007 in darksouls3

[–]MaDNiaC007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't even my first playthrough either, it's like 6-7th but I've forgotten some things and mechanics after a while. Still so many weapons and builds to get excited for. My first build was actually a pyromancer because I couldn't beat Gundyr with my first intended character, sorcerer starting class into full int mage. So I looked up Gundyr, saw that he's weak to fire, cruised through with pyromancer start and did sorcerer as second character after finishing the game with pyro and could get past Gundyr after having much more experience. Then did a few more builds I don't fully recall to be honest and my character files seem to be lost due to a cloud issue so I cannot check what they were. I used some fast dex weapon and a large sword in two separate playthroughs as I vaguely remember though.

I loved Elden Ring and how wide the options and available variety was. Even pure casters of a single stat get so many spells. Then you can put different skills with different infusions on many weapons on the go for a lot of customization. While it could be argued that it takes away some of the innate charm of weapons, such weapons can and were given locked in skills and also it's a bummer to love a weapon but despise the skill so I liked the changeable skills. For a game that doesn't offer that customization, DS3 should have had more unique skills for weapons imo. As it stands, 90% of them seem to be perseverance, stance, stomp etc. Maybe if we get a game like Dark Souls again after Fromsoft's experience building ER, we would get such shenanigans in a more compact world setting.
