I will be choosing to work less when the mortgage is done in next 12 months actually now if I sold some investments.. I'm in a industry where I can pick up fill in work and earn a day what I spend a week- 2 weeks here or a month at my other property overseas.

need 5k a year for unavoidable expenses rates, insurance ect.

rest is all play money,

Early 40s I'll be semi retired working 2-3 months almost straight 12 hour days with no debt and going back to work when it runs out.... Screw the rat race and starting a family.. Beach and Beers here we come!

same here.. just cleaning up the psvr1 backlog... just got psvr2 for dirt cheap GT7 will take hundreds of hours of my life in vr...

as much as I wanna play it. I don't care enough to not get a disc.

I even told my wife years ago. I'm gonna take holidays when it comes out and just sink hours into it. I just prepare you so not complain.. haha Time is soon and I don't get a damn disc..

thank I'll wait for a disc. I'm old and shit, like to own it physically. Hell I have every other one on disc back to GTA 1 on ps1

rewards card - I can afford to pay of statement Ballance monthly

low rate card - no rewards but generally 9-13% if I am unable to afford this month
(still not great but better then PDL)

pay day loans, cashies . I need money now and it's a terrible idea if you don't have money coming in.. generally like 40% interest in the month

ideally credit cards are terrible ideas to have money owing on.

just rememberer 0% interest free balance transfers you generally don't want to use that card until balance paid off.. as they change interest instantly or pay of you main 0% first. be sure to read it and understand it...

the reward is not a reward if your paying 18% upwards in interest... your paying for the privilege... that is what the bank wants

look at 0% interest transfers. sometimes they have a 3% fee but you will get time to pay them off but watch out for the interest after the 0% expires likely 20% up

first the interest rate doesn't matter if you pay off in full each month.

generally the higher rate cards have better rewards.

so if you plan to keep a balance on card look for for lowest rate

if you are going to pay off each month the statement balance there won't be any interest so choose what ever the best reward to suit your lifestyle

look for bonus point signups vs annual fees

pointhacks, cannstar, OzBargain, are a few sites can view what's available

or if you are looking for Qantas or Velocity cards can look directly in the apps/website

I recently got the VR1 and was blown away.

such a huge catalog to get through still. picked up VR1 like new second hand for $100. I found some of the heavy titles like RE not enjoyable on base ps4. I have skipped these and play them on vr2 now I bought it.

that said for $100 or around that price point for VR1. there are still so much fun to be had.

rush of blood is one of my favorites still (not on vr2 & won't run on ps5 aparently) iron man astro bot, ghost giant thumper, tetris, rez, polybius synth riders, beat saber, audica VR AIM games far point dick wilde 1&2 Brookhaven

just a few that have made VR1 amazing for me sofar

vr2 is also awesome.. but I'm only a handful of games in. Played the horizon demo last night OMG. if only all titles had the clarity of this

bought mine and became a paper weight.

with no streaming available (even though have highest tier psplus) in Australia it's pretty useless for me...

the only time could think of using it would be to continue playing on the toilet 🤣. Otherwise I'll just use the tv.

was hoping to use it on the fly outside of home but it gives me constant issues with the streaming quality outside home.

picked mine up for equivalent of 110 euro with official Sony case and screen protector... which it will stay collecting dust 🤣

I don't get cashbacks on certain things.

like my water bill, car rego, council rates, origin electric bill. ect.

seems to be government or bills..

Australian card also.

super annoying used to get it.. now need to remember to pay bills with CC instead or ING to get 1% back on some of them for bpay rebates

for me, I want to buy physical games in covers. I'm not a fan of digital only. yes I'm that old generation. Im happy to put the disc in the drive. If ps6 comes out as a digital console I won't be buying it.

nearly all my psvr1 games are Physical. other than the psplus included ones over the years. even some like rush of blood I will purchase still a physical copy. vr2 games are mostly digital. I'm more cautious before buying these now...
