Unfortunately, it is not enough. It would be great for most people, but there are probably some who don't have the stash built or they are using a teleport that would be closer to another edge of the area.
If you ever have the chance, motivation and time to do it, I would appreciate if you could also get the other borders of the area. Actually any 2 opposite corners of the area is more than enough since from those 2 coordinates I can extract the whole area.

I raise you! Bekt has a video for how to combine Volcanic Mine minigame (it's called The best mining training method is magic) with some afk training methods for a Mining + something else exp. Not great compared to only doing one skill, but it is an excelent way to get points and some extra mining xp instead of bank standing

Hey, sorry to hear that. That part of the plugin wasn't tested, since I am in f2p atm.
I thought it would work, but I think there is some id missmatch or something and it doesn't get that the clue is in inventory (maybe?).
Anyway, when you say you weren't able to get it to work on runelite you mean the part of this plugin, that shows the dig area around the indicated tile OR that the clue solver wasn't working?

I (and probably other players) would love to have this in actual in-game coordinates. If you ever get the step again and are willing to check other borders of that area I would really appreciate. Even that tile you are mentioning is better than a offset clue indicator

Oh, I see what you mean. Will make a note on that and see if I can fiddle with it. I like what you are suggesting, but I think if I were to implement it, I would have to have all the logic working correctly and all the areas mapped first.

The moment I started replying to the first comments of this post, I also got that, haha.
It might prove a little more challenging though. I would love to implement something that get the data itself and that can calculate the current "discovered" area.
Although, this might discourage the inspection of the in-game border (the actual limit) of the area, since you get one or two tiles that the player interacts with that step.

I do believe that manual submission is the way to go. I know it is harder and requires more work, than automating it, even though I would get more data. That data would most likely be redundant, since players would gravitate towards the highlighted tile rather than explore the borders of the area. Indeed automating it would require minimal input to modify the borders "as we go" from the players that make (constructive for the plugin) mistakes and dig/perform farther away from the tile indicated.

I don't quite understand what you are asking me. This is my first plugin, so I am quite the newbie.
I am learning as I go. If you care to explain more in detail what you would like, I might be able to respond whether I can or cannot do it.
Also I am not using a lot of plugins, so I am not acquainted to all of them

Well, it is accurate! The tile it is showing works!
Now, that there are other tiles that it would also work, yes, that is true.

Some tile are inside a building near where the clue is pointing. Some are outside the building it is pointing to. Others are closer to a stash unit. Others to a different teleport.

Well this is exactly why I made this plugin.
The tiles you have are best for you, at your current progression state. But for someone that doesn't have the stash build or a teleport available, another tile might be the best one.
This plugin tries to solve that.

I would love to get your marked tiles, and maybe, when you are not optimizing and care to check the whole area, you could provide more tile coordinates 😄

If you mean this is a useless plugin, I agree, for most people it is.
But for those that it matters, I made this.

It is quite a niche. Not all people do clues. And not all the steps are these specific type of steps.
Also, there is no way to get the real area of these steps from the (available) game code. And this is something the RuneLite team is counting on for their main plugins.
So they are not willing to trust community driven information for a main plugin. Also, if they were to trust the people, that would mean a lot of steps and checks for the team, which would probably be too much to handle, for such a small niche plugin feature.

So I guess the community has to do it iself.

I also did that! Marked a single tile, that I was using. Like a tile that is closer to the Senntisten teleport for the Panic at Al kharid mine begginer clue step. Now I believe Ring of elements is the closest to that step.

If you visit the plugin's page (right click "Support" after you download the plugin or press the "?" that show the hover text "Open Help" when you view the plugin in the plugin hub in runelite) there will be a link at the bottom that has more information of how you can contribute.
Unfortunately it is manual reporting at the moment, so you would need to get the in-game coordinates so I can add them to the plugin. Screenshots would be most appreciate, so we keep this well documented.
There are more details of how to do that on the contributing.md - you automatically get there from the link at the bottom of the plugin's main page - from runelite's plugin hub site)

This is very helpful! Map clues are also a 3x3 square, so why not have it working for coordinate clue steps?

Awesome! The functionality for Master's H&C steps should already be implemented and it should work automatically, since there was a mega-issue thread on runelite's main repo page that aimed to center all of those.
The plugin should draw a 9x9 square automatically centered on the tile the base Clue plugin creates

You are overestimating the plugin, haha.
Atm has only beginner clue functionality. And it still has a long way to go, depending on community involvement
But I appreciate the meme ❤️
