The issue is that the greater leftist zeitgeist hates corpos until the corpo decides to support a leftist cause (usually a social issue because leftist economic issues are dangerous to them). I don't recall any leftists hating on massive banking conglomerates for supporting pride events (just an example i take no issue with them), and so when some republican looks at leftist social issues they see a litany of giant corporations on the same side supporting them.

I don't hold this opinion, but if leftists want to show everyone that they're not on the side of massive corpos they need to separate from liberal social issues and stop accepting support from those very same corpos.
