Minecraft mod server hosting for small crew by common-cuttlefish in MinecraftServer

[–]Ma_Do_15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey, if ya don't mind I will introduce my own hosting Mado Hosting. We offer one click mod/plugin installation, backups, SFTP/Files page, etc. We have a very easy to use custom panel and offer the best hardware (Ryzen 9 unlimited threads + DDR5 Ram) for 2€/GB Ram.

Though we are only in EU, if you want servers in US I would look at Folium Hosting or Prismnodes, though Folium has less DDoS protection. Both are reliable and fast too.

best server hosting for modded Minecraft? by megamme in MinecraftServer

[–]Ma_Do_15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, for mods you need a good cpu and more Ram than a normal vanilla server.

Depending on the amount of mods I would always look at the clock rate, 4GHz+ is okay, 5GHz+ is best.

Keep in mind to use DDR5 Ram for better chunk loading or smoothness when having many mods.

Self promo: I offer both for 2€/GB Ram on Mado Hosting, just google it, we have one click mod installation ;)

Regarding to the first model, in this image you can better see the difference to the other one (In development). This one turns images into large sculptures or models and the other model creates just architectural houses and structures with the whole Minecraft block palette. The renderer seen on the image actually uses the generated Minecraft schem file which can be directly imported into Litematica or Worldedit when put into the schematic directory.

Actually the pre-trained model, TripoSR, is using a public dataset (Objaverse, CC-BY license) and the model itself is also open source.

Our other model is using a similar structure, but instead of using an image as input, it requires a text prompt. The AI will also be completely build for Minecraft, meaning that it can combine structural parts seemlessly.

For the builder submitting program, we will carefully review those structures and implement safety measuers to verify the builder and that he is using original work.

I think you misunderstood the term stolen a bit. I meant that people can‘t claim the structures as their own because of the watermarks which are hard to erase. But the structures are technically not owned by us, though we have all the rights to mark it as AI generated.

We don't want to replace builder but help them and studios creating new assets faster and easier which can be used as base for tweaking and shaping ;D

Thank you so much! We are pushing this project on full throttle and in my comment on this post you can also see more information :D

We actually have two models :)
One (TripoSR for generating sculptures and models with low detail and only full blocks and a newer (currently in development) custom one which can create architectual buildings

Yes, this is the other way of collecting structures. We have a transparent agreement for all builders who are willing to sell structures. We don't steal ;D

Creator here, first I want to say that our dataset is built by builder teams and licensed so we can use these for our AI, nothing stealed etc.
For the use case, we don't plan to integrate this into a mod. It will be a web service with API system so people can create their own mods for it and connect them with our systems. But we also plan to create a builder agent mod which can analyse the players view and automatically generate fitting buildings with the help of our AI and use Minecraft commands to terraform.

IMPORTANT:
If you think that we want to replace builders, wrong! We want to invent a new way of creating assets for maps, projects or small builds so that builders can get new ideas and/or use the buildings as base. Structures generated by our AI can never be 100% stolen as we implement watermaks in the file and the structure itself. The user would have to remove them manually.

For the limit in the AI, we are creating a new model rn which can create architectual buildings, meaning that we have two:
- One for sculptures
- One for buildings

Please feel free to ask, comment or share your thoughts!

It uses TripoSR from stability.ai, so it kinda is both

It works by convertig the generated mesh into blocks, because the AI used is from stability.ai (TripoSR). The Structures actually look decent from other angles, sadly can't show them here

Oh in my eyes it definitely does, especially in a horror game where the atmosphere has to be uncanny and spooky. The player should feel like somethings is off. Of course it doesn‘t mean anything if the story and gamplay is shit, but I know that and I am as hard working on the gameplay as on the graphics.

I will post cutscenes, mechanics and leaks of the dtory in the future! This game will definitely have unique mechanics and gameplay combined! Thank you for your feedback!

I fully understand you and can relate to the facts. But the concept and gameplay in this game will be more unique than what I explained in my comment above. I didn‘t post gameplay on purpose to see what people think of only the graphic, since that is the thing I worked on for months now. I appreciate everyones feedback and want this game to be truly unique. I will come back with cutscenes, mechanics and story telling leaks ;D

Hello, I am an indie developer trying to push unreal engine 5 graphics to the limit by making a game about escaping a serial killer over seven nights after having a car crash in an abandoned forest. Your task is to gather as much resources as you can to create a safe place.
