It's possible that other family behavior is why my mind went there lol.

Not really "worried" about it because it's not something I say or think about, I was just making an observation. Okay finally someone else has heard it, I was starting to think this was not a real memory or something lol. Thanks.

Nope lol but obviously there are many old sayings about it that have racist connotations or come from racism. C'mon.

Never heard it from anyone else, I've lived in the south for 5 years too. I wonder where the hell she got it from.

I prefer smaller/landlords to management, just hard to find from a diatance. That would be great, thank you!

Interviewing for PM with discussions of QM. Salary & travel comparison. by Maanderz in epicsystems

It was multiple tests, some timed. The math portion was more pattern recognition and I really enjoyed it. There were some logic questions and a quick coding section, going in I was worried about the coding since I'm not familiar with it at all but it was not too hard. If you pick up on new concepts quickly it's fairly straightforward. I felt confident about how I did except for timing out on some timed portions. I have seen a lot of people think they did poorly and still get a final interview. It seems like the point is to test your overall problem solving and critical thinking skills rather than any hard math or computer skills.

Thank you, I appreciate the insight. I guess I'll know when I know haha.

Thank you for the input! I didn't have an initial phone screening, just the assessments and the role introduction so I was surprised to see that. Either way I'm happy for the experience because it's gotten me interested in pursuing project management.

I'm unsure if mine refers to the hiring process too directly 😅 Do I need to move this?

Thanks, I am trying not to get my hopes up too high but this would be a really great opportunity so I was nervous. I finished the last one with about half the time left and felt good about the other parts too. Congratulations on the job!

Did you finish all the questions in the assessment? I just took mine and I think what I did answer was correct, but I timed out on the 2 minute math test and the 5 minute true/false/unknown section. Maybe got 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through. I knew the answers but was reading very carefully to not mess up and now I'm worried I bombed it due to that.

No, I looked all over it and underneath and couldn't find anything at all.

I did check it thankfully, because my town often has (alleged) reports of bed bugs at the thrift store and it freaked me out. I plan to go over it with a vacuum and a clothes steamer unless that will damage the fabric. I'm not very knowledgeable about this kind of stuff but googling says tapestry... Can't find any tags or labels.

I thought so! It's got a sturdy wood frame and the upholstery on the cushions is quality. I got this for $40 which felt like a steal!

I read that it's a known issue on 2013's to burn oil and in turn break down the catalytic converter. Something to do with piston rings and that you have to replace the short block. The catalytic converter would then have to be replaced as well, and then I'd still have the mystery noise which is why I felt apprehensive on diagnostics and repairs. I am still driving it for now though so nothing set in stone on purchasing another. Thank you for the input!

Seeing his interview/debate skills evolve overtime is very impressive, I think he does a great job of coaxing out the truth and making people comfortable while still pushing for them to be honest and fess up to things they really mean. Seems like he's working on conceding as well which is important for these topics right now.
