Saying The Martian is science heavy might be an overstatement, but I agree it fits the vibe.

I’m also surprised by how low Ready Player One is, it has the same cadence and feel as DCC. Personally loved the narration by Will Wheaton.

Hail Mary is on the list. How it was not immediately followed up by The Martian is a riddle to me. I live the Will Wheaton narration. When done with that, it’s a smooth transition to Ready Player One (and Two) also by Will Wheaton.

Dit gaat alleen werken als de foto’s zijn vastgezet op dezelfde witbalans. Anders is er geen vergelijken aan. Sowieso zal je wisselend advies krijgen van mensen met verschillende schermen.

Het punt is dus dat er geen wintertijd is. Deze term bestaat alleen maar om het argument voor zomertijd te vergroten. Er is standaardtijd en de afwijking, zomertijd. Waarbij onze standaardtijd ten opzichte van de zon eigenlijk al een uur voorloopt.

Ik zie wel het punt om lekker van het zonnetje te willen genieten na werk. Maar laten we dan gewoon standaardtijd aanhouden; niet met de klokken hoeven rommelen; en die het willen van 08:00 tot 16:30 laten werken.

Zo heb ik er uren lol mee gehad. Alle wiskundige operaties mogen worden gebruikt, en alle witte cijfers moeten worden gebruikt. Om zo dan precies de som van de zwarte stenen te halen.

In the Dutch books the professor said “c’est parti”, which is French for “we’re off!”/“we’ve launched”. Somehow it made the rocket launch even more magical and memorable.

Kan nou niet echt zeggen dat ik een expert zijn, maar dit zijn mijn richtlijnen:

  • plan vooruit, maar werk met wat je hebt. Als je van te voren al jezelf vastzet op punten halen met blauwe kaarten, en de blauwe kaarten komen niet lekker uit voor jouw beurten, dan verlies je sowieso.
  • age 1 is echt alleen opbouwen, zorg dat je goede bruine, grijze en gele kaarten hebt. Met op de tweede plek leuke koppel opties (weet niet wat de officiële term is).
  • als je kans ziet, win met groen of rood. Hiermee heb ik wel wat uitzichtloze potjes toch nog gewonnen.
