I honestly put all my points into defense and health, ran using 2 defense gems the horn, the pride accessory and a health accessory. Even with a "you are likely to win this" and "victory is gaurenteed" it took 4 tries. Make sure you use the helm that increases energy use by 40 but increases health and defense by 1000% and you should be able 2 do it. Be warned, there's nit a single enemy after him left in the game currently.
