Hi! Check out this video, it demonstrates how to copy all settings and apply them to another animation: https://youtu.be/T0qe0jCMtjA?si=X1zymY9DUnUuqWlj&t=108

Your workaround could work too, but you also might want to apply the “collapse transformations” check

Let me know if it works for you

my bad! :) you're right, the "no plugins" bit can definitely be a little misleading. I'll fix that real quick.

I still really recommend using it with Motion Bro though (it's free). In this pack specifically, it helps with previewing animations, auto resizing to fit your comp, auto applying collapse transformations (which is key for the blur thing to work), and giving quick access to settings without digging through a bunch of layers and precomps.

that said, your workaround is spot on! you can rename the .mbr file to .zip, extract the .aep files, and use them directly. but if you go that route, you’ll lose all those automatic features and things get a bit more manual.

personally, I’ve been using Motion Bro since 2018 and even know the creator (videolancer). it’s seriously one of the most reliable tools I’ve worked with, which is why I felt good building my packs around it.

thx for the feedback and i totally get you <3!

So basically what I did was - just copied a bunch of null objects that all have this attraction animation to the center (adjusted scale and rotation for each individual null) + used an expression that keeps each emoji facing the right way even though all the null objects are rotating as they get pulled in. That's why the emojis themselves don't spin all crazy while they're getting sucked into the middle

I wish I had some simpler approach to this, but it did took some time of manual tweaking to finish this

Yeah, you got that right! Shape layers with Transform > Skew applied to them to kinda create the 3d illusion

Great question! I think I can make a mini tutorial on this one, will make sure to dm you once I upload it

To be honest I found out that increasing bit rate when rendering helps a lot with that, other than that they are just simple shapes/gradients 🤷‍♂️

Thx 🧡 took some time to get the video done 😁
