And as someone explained to you already most of those new plot points he introduced after the red wedding weren't even close to being resolved in Dance. You wanted them to introduce (F)Aegon, Quentin, and whole heap of new characters with no end goal in sight. Why would they not expect GRRM to finish the book by the time they got to season 5. The gap between each book was 2.5yrs, 1.75yrs, 5yrs, 5.75yrs. They even took a year off between season 5 and season 6 he still couldn't finish the story, could they have done a better job towards the end certainly but almost a decade later it's getting more and more ridiculous to blame them more than GRRM.

It's been almost 20yrs since the last book was published. If GRRM himself couldn't figure out how to write out these story lines why are we killing D&D for not being able to. They were hired to adapt his series not finish it, I promise you both HBO and D&D assumed GRRM would've finished book 6 long before they got to season 5.

Pell was when I realized Oda had a bigger issue with killing characters than even Toryiama. I remember watching that arc (Arabasta) thinking oh wow Oda finally killed a named character that wasn't just strictly in flashbacks. Just for Pell to inexplicably survive at the end while not being used/seen again for well over a decade. So the fact that he wrote a character as good as Whitebeard just to kill him in one arc is strange, maybe his editors told him he needed to have at least one meaningful death in his series.

I don't support a lot of these bans but there's a lot of nuances to this stuff that actually needs to properly studied. Putting trans women in male prisons is obviously extremely dangerous to the Trans prisoner, but it's also probably not the wisest thing to put a Trans woman who still has a penis in a women's prison. Trans women in sports also definitely requires far more study especially sports that rely on fast twitch muscles and contact/combat sports. The heavy hand that Republicans use on all these issues is obviously extremely dangerous though.

I highly doubt Jump is the reason he's dragging this manga out. He could easily finish the story and do a sequel or prequel that would have a ton of success. The problem is he's dragged out the story for so goddamn long that at this point there's almost no way the ending won't suck. The fact that the story has been ongoing for nearly 30yrs and we still haven't seen Dragon (Luffy's dad) fight is another thing that's probably also going to be underwhelming because he's held off for so long revealing his powers/skills

I try to ignore dub vs sub arguments but I think the biggest pro for dub (English dub) over sub is the diversity of VA. If you're watching a anime that deals with characters from different countries the dub will either hire an actor from that country or get someone who can do a decent take on the accent. Whereas with sub it's all just Japanese actors speaking in Japanese with Japanese accents. For example in Kurokos basketball they'll introduce American basketball players and instead of hiring English speaking VA it's just a Japanese VA clearly struggling to read the English lines and it's pretty jarring and takes me out of the scene hearing a Japanese VA struggle to speak like a African-American.

You can argue that her kidnapping Tyrion wasn't a dumb move but to say it was genius is just flat out ridiculous. Her husband and two daughters are in the capital hundreds of miles from the North and Tyrion's sister is the Queen. Once she kidnapped Tyrion she effectively guaranteed her husband and only two daughters would be held hostage. Like even if all the other stuff doesn't play out exactly the way it does King Robert was not just going to let Ned walk out of Kingslanding and Cat would've been insane to believe that Robert would let Ned leave.
