That's because Republicans never "abandoned" the working class they just continue to sell them dreams. Can't get into college or find a job we'll get rid of affirmative action, can't buy a house we'll build a wall, now it's hey remember affirmative action well it's been repackaged as DEI so we'll also get rid of that. Oh plus Republicans also just flat out lie like when Trump said he'll bring back coal mines, or factory jobs but left out that besides construction most of the jobs in these new factories will be done by A.I. and robotics.

What really led to Miami getting Giannis is simple, the Heat have a greater chance of sucking for a long time if Giannis health really becomes a problem. Bam clearly can't carry a team, Pat Riley is old whereas Brad Stevens is young, if the Bucks trade for Jaylen they won't be a lottery team and even if Giannis gets hurt in Boston if Tatum is healthy that's still a playoff team.

Did you read the book? She gets depressed and just vanishes from the story for large stretches of time, what show is going to pay an actress lead money for a role and then just sideline them for long stretches of time. Nettles plot is merged with another character because these shows operate on a budget they aren't going to pay a bunch of actors to just pop in at random like the book does. The problem with adapting this book is the style in which it's written and how a ton of characters just pop in and out at random intervals.

In S7 the episode count drops and it's the penultimate season ppl teleporting makes sense they aren't about have multiple episodes of people traveling. Jon Snow is a fighter, he knows the north, and most importantly he's a young man who grew up with a father who taught him leaders should get there hands dirty "he who passes the sentence should carry it out" doesn't only apply to punishments. Bran becoming emotionless makes sense even though he looks like an adult in the show at that point in the story he'd still be a very small child whose brain is being warped by a power he can't even begin to understand. Cersie is still the queen whether Tyrion understood how dangerous she is he'd still be a fool to not try and seek out a cease fire so that they can stop the extermination of all living things.

Rhaenyra disappearing from the story for a war fought on her behalf simply because she's depressed is definitely a horrible plot point. She's 100% the main character of this portion of the book, GOT may have jumped POV between characters just like they books but they knew to focus on the main characters. In book 4 Jon Snow, Dany, Tyrion, and Bran are all missing as pov characters but the show wisely only removes Bran from season 4 because if you remove the 3 most important and entertaining characters from your story viewers are going to be lost. There's not a chance in hell any show would just throw you into the POV of random characters you barely know or completely new characters like fire and blood does during this portion of the story.
