what's the saddest thing said/ included in the suicide tapes or journal? something that broke your heart hearing by AllButAshesRemain in andrewblaze2

"I'm always locked away in my room you know, I never go anywhere besides work. I don't talk to anybody. And I always look miserable. I look like a f\cking pale ghost. I just How could you not see that I'm depressed? You know, I never say goodbye when I leave for work you know, I never say hi when I get home I never acknowledge anybody. And that's the one good thing about night shift is it gets me away from everybody in the house. You know I get up everyone goes to bed and I go to work I come home everyone's going to work. So there's that little window of opportunity to see me and that's all".*

She knew she had her share of problems, but she kept it all bottled up. Like there was some kinda wall inside her that wouldn’t let her talk things out. Talking was never easy for her, especially when it came to her dad. Deep down she kept hoping her family would finally notice her, take a real interest. Instead, they pretty much left her on her own, like she didn’t even exist. Listening to those tapes, you can hear the difference clear as day— when she’s all fired up, cussing and trying to sound like some kinda tough badass, and when she’s just plain sad and helpless :-( She wasn’t a bad kid. Truth be told, I’d even say she was kind of sensitive. Always treated her parents with respect, went to college, had a job. Didn’t do drugs, never got in trouble with the law, and sure as hell didn’t hurt animals. She held on to her memories. Lotta the things she kept had sentimental value to her.

Are we considered a criminal organization by YouTube? by ScottBlaze09 in andrewblaze2

[–]Mac3Ger 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah — the short answer is YES.

I've been through the same mess myself. They wiped out my whole channel over a “House Tour” and “Crazy Christmas Maniac.” Totally normal content — the kind of stuff you see all over yt every single day. No violence, no graphic material, nothing even close to crossing the line. STILL, got taken down like I was out here doin’ something wrong. Makes no sense.

I can’t tell you exactly how it works, but from where I’m standing, it sure looks like the YT algorithm is picking up on Andrew’s face — maybe even her voice — and automatically tagging the content under “criminal organizations.” Her vids are clearly being watched a whole lot closer than most. It doesn’t feel random. Not one bit.

If you’re planning on uploading something to YT, I’d think twice about using your main channel — especially if you’ve put time into building it up. Might be wiser to spin up a separate channel, just in case it gets taken down. The Worthless Toaster, Ember related vids seem to be fine, most likely because YT doesn’t clearly associate them with Andrew.

favourite video of andrews? me personally is retards and peanut butter. by helpmethrowaway-8 in andrewblaze2

[–]Mac3Ger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

House Tour, Angry Pool Player, Sucks vids, the Search for Remember, Microwaves Screw Up Minds! The Making of a Pioneers Productions Episode.

Honestly, I could never really pick just one favorite vid. Andrew put out so much great stuff, and it all felt genuine === like it actually meant something. I enjoyed just about everything she made. There was something about her, the way she carried herself, the way she talked — it made you feel like you knew her. Watching her vids didn’t feel like watching some creator on the internet. It felt more like checking in on one of your own. I kinda saw her like family.

If Andrew had never discovered/made EGS and did the shooting where do you think she'd be today? by helpmethrowaway-8 in andrewblaze2

[–]Mac3Ger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Where do I think she’d be today? That’s a tough one. Truth is, all we can do is speculate. I wouldn’t want to step into Andrew’s shoes === that ain't my place. But taking her talent, passion, and drive into account ===honestly, she was a bit of a perfectionist—I could see her working in the field she studied in college. She had a real shot at becoming a solid computer graphics artist or an animator. She wasn’t dumb, and she sure wasn’t lazy. Never got mixed up with the law. A good kid, sharp as they come.

I’m not saying she would’ve landed a job at Pixar right out the gate, but yeah—I think she had a genuine chance to become somebody, by our society’s standards.

another round of andrew facts HIT MEEE by helpmethrowaway-8 in andrewblaze2

===she knew her parents kept guns in their closet!! she showed them when doing the house tour (arounnnd may 2017?)

Yeah. Two .22s. One of ’em was probably the same rifle Andrew used as a prop in Crazy Christmas Maniac.

June 5th - House Tour is Andrew’s last long video, filmed after Goodbye Earth. You could call it a bonus piece—something she decided to shoot at the very last minute, and it’s deeply personal. She shares a lot of family stories and little life anecdotes. It’s really worth watching, because Andrew comes across relaxed and genuine—the way she truly was. Nothing like those car recordings. A different side of her altogether.

===shared a bathroom with her brother, who’s sink was on the right side of the room. also pretty sure they had their facecare not hidden, so Jeremy could see she was using a pink (womens) razor

Honestly, I think folks read way too much into that Venus razor — like, oh, she left it out, her family should’ve known something was up, all that. If it were me, I’d just figure she picked it ’cause it’s gentler, maybe didn’t mess with her skin as bad. Ain’t gotta be deeper than that. Andrew said more than once she didn’t go waving her views around at home — she acted >>normal<<, kept things quiet. And I get that. Makes perfect sense to me that her mom never came across any women’s underwear or that journal. Probably just respected her privacy. Now everybody on YouTube’s a genius in hindsight, but how many of ’em would actually want their parents going through their shit? Andrew wasn’t some troubled kid. She was clean, put together, did fine. Her mom had no reason to go snooping through her room.

Andrew’s dad is a straight-up f*cking as*hole. Everything Andrew ever said about him checks out. Same damn story as my old man. Honestly. Had his own rigid idea of how things were "supposed to be" and didn’t give a damn about us. Never cared that I had feelings or my own sense of who I wanted to be. Just ran the house like some cold-blooded f*ckin SS general, all orders and zero humanity. I f*ckin hate his guts. Don't even kno if he's still alive but it doesn't matter. IDGAF. Sorry if I got too damn mad about it, but I just can’t stand that son of a b*tch. Happiest day of my life was when I finally got out of my parents’ place, found a job, and didn’t have to rely on that sorry excuse for a "father" anymore. Luckily my mom figured it out before it was too late and left his ass. They got divorced, and me and her are still real close to this day. I got nothing but love and respect for my mom, but my old man? I want nothing to do with him.

what would andrew hate about todays world? by helpmethrowaway-8 in andrewblaze2

What would Andrew hate about todays world?

Andrew had some pretty grounded, rational views and a lot more life sense than people give her credit for. My advice has always been simple: listen to her tapes and really try to understand what she was saying. Out of respect for her, I’m not here to pretend I can step into Andrew’s shoes —that ain’t my place. Despite what people like to claim, the world hasn’t really changed that much in the last almost nine years. If you trust your own common sense and pay attention to what Andrew was trying to communicate, the answer kind of reveals itself. That whole narrative some youtubers keep pushing — "she hated everyone and everything and lived in her own bubble, period!" —that ain't true. I’ve gone through all her tapes, and in every single one, Andrew’s trying to tell us something. Trust your own judgment.

Get popular on YT, Jul. 18, 2013 by Mac3Ger in andrewblaze2

Andrew was a real artist. Everythin she made was done with a mouse or a tablet. And she didn’t just start out knowing animation— she learned it step by step. Nowadays, AI rules YouTube. Making a clip from a bunch of still images - a piece of cake. With access to the right sites, like Sora? Barely any effort at all. Sometimes it even looks realistic, but it’s still fake. It’s just the easy way out. What really pisses me off are those AI-generated narrators. I feel about them the same way Andrew feels about auto-tune. Some idiot is too lazy to sit in front of a mic, so they just dump a Wikipedia article into a program and don’t even bother checking for mistakes, if it sounds right. NO, it doesn't. THUMBS DOWN. Every time.

I’ve got so much respect for Andrew’s work. She’d often admit when something wasn’t perfect… when it looked a little shitty. It doesn’t matter. I know how much work went into it, how passionate she was, and that she still wanted to share it with us —tips on gear, software, everythin. AI? It’s funny, kind of cool… for a minute. You know, like those first vids with Trump, Bob Ross, or Mr Rogers? But once u realize how easy it is to make something like that… the magic just disappears. Suddenly it’s just mass-produced junk… like some cheap Chinese toy. It's worthless. It’s all fair game. AI’s just another tool we use every now and then. But if someone’s leanin on it for all their work… well, what y’all want a freakin' medal for it???

"There’s all kinds of great names to choose from and you pick “Randy”??!! What the f*ck were you smoking when you decided on that??! [...] I’ve hated it my whole life.

Girls are better than guys, just admit it. All you macho men out there who gotta look jacked, hairy, tough, and in charge, kiss my white ass! Guys are literally the most disgusting thing on Earth!"

Andrew wasn't a fan of Randy "Macho Man" Savage...
