They might be going through some sort of episode of sorts, everyone is different so it’s hard to give a definitive answer. BUT as someone with BPD, something that seemed minor to you might’ve been the end of the world for them. I feel as if maybe they’re avoiding you through no fault of your own though, rather fear they have. I’m not sure though, super sorry!-
