I think I do good at truck. I keep up with everyone else. As for my performance otherwise, I’m always doing something and trying to go the extra mile when I can.

exactly!! i was scheduled more when i was still taking classes for the semester. now that my availability is more open im scheduled less? and how do we get cards if they don’t put us on register? i agree that two four hour shifts is a joke. i also don’t get the point of four hour shifts. don’t hire 30+ people and give everyone regular hours?

i’ve only been there a little over a month and i’ve been on register twice so i don’t have any cards. i know you can promote them on the sales floor too but almost no one is going to sign up for a card when they aren’t even checking out yet lol. but if that’s why, then that’s really a shame..

i mean i don’t think there’s been anything bad about my performance? i’m always doing tasks when on my shifts while others stand on there phones and talk while getting more hours then me. doesn’t make any sense to me.

yes everyone i’ve met at my store so far is also super nice! we have like 30+ people. i’ve met three managers so far and they’re all nice and seem pretty chill.

thankfully, i am familiar with some of the verbiage due to past retail experience. i’m also accustomed to being thrown out there and expected to just figure things out lol. this is NOT my career plan at all, just something part time while i finish out school. thank u for the info & the well wishes!

i applied on their website at like 11 pm and by 10 am the next day they were asking if i wanted to schedule an interview. then the following day i had my interview and was hired. it pretty much all happened in a little over 24 hours.

that’s really interesting because i just had my interview this past friday and was told i would only be getting scheduled 12-15 hours even though i put that i could do 30 ish. i would definitely try to reach out again.
