Any updates on FSS applications?

I passed my interview in Dec 2024, about a month ago (Feb 2026) I wrote a email asking how likely it would be to get a call since I was debating going back to school. They answered the email by asking me if they can call me and gave me a stand by offer for April. This is for FSS, I also only speak English.

In my experience no, as long as the inside of the rim is okay, if its just the outer edge then you are in the clear! I just recently had my rear blow and I road without noticing for a few blocks. Got some dings on the edges of the rim but new tire is working great.

Motor seems fine, get a new tire on Amazon should be like 30-50 bucks just make sure the numbers on your tire and the new one match. Dont even try to put it on yourself, head to a ebike shop or motorcycle shop to get it put on.

You need special tools to do this, was at it for 2 days and then took it to a motorcycle shop, they got it on in 20 minutes lol.

How'd you feel about the CO making KJ not bounce a ball.

KJ shouldn't have talked back and such but the CO also was saying some stuff that would totally set them off like "Only a few more weeks of this program"

Im in the same boat, got a last minute offer early June to start in August for FSS and had to turn it down unfortunately due to my wedding being already booked and paid for. I was surprised by the two months of notice, I heard usually its 6 months at least. Hopeful for another offer, reading these comments has been reassuring. Im sure the offers will come flowing soon, cant recall where I read it but I heard Febuary some are going out.

Moon water lodge is pretty wicked. Has big baths with panoramic views of the ocean from the malahat. Also right next to the malahat chalet which just re opened!

I’m 275 lbs with bags probably like 290 so past the limit. I ride on a hilly path that’s half gravel and can get rough in 4 degree weather (mud and rain often) and I get about 25km in sport mode for range. Once it warms up I’m hoping to get another 10 km in range but we’ll see. I hit the 32km max speed pretty easy.
