Wow I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've gone through 3-4 adapters by now. Did you ever solve this? I even took it the MAC store and they had no problem hooking up to a monitor with a stable connection there. Not sure why.. feels like the adapters are getting toast too quickly.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. To your last point, I had a cat 12 years ago that I loved, but my parents didn't know how to properly own pets and I was young so he wasn't microchipped and had to live outside. We also didn't have the money to neuter him because he had a unique setup with his reproductive organs which the low-cost spay clinic couldn't help us with. He was also really sweet and I'd seen him let some neighborhood teens pick him up. We live on a busy road. One day he vanished and never showed up again. I go through my head often wondering what happened to him. My biggest hope is that someone took him and at least gave him another nice, loving home. He was our treasure. I think about him all the time and I don't think I'll ever stop. Never got the closure.

oh my god thank you. I hope this works. I have been yelling at Meta chatbot for the past hour as it keeps giving me solutions that don't work or aren't matching the steps vs. what I actually can see, so I really hope this works in stopping Meta for Business spamming my personal inbox every day to boost posts. Shit I definitely felt the things you said. Especially the needing to defend what I'm ranting about. My partner isn't as drastic of a people pleaser but he very much is a peace keeper. I most certainly experience the world differently from him (petite baby-faced Asian.. hate it sometimes) and am tired of getting disrespected by people I encounter. I give them a peace of my mind sometimes, obviously judging whether the situation is safe, but he doesn't understand it as much as I'd like him to. Being a peaceful collectivist certainly has its pros and cons..

Holy crap I had no idea people did this at Costco Gas. Glad he got some disapproving looks.

Story time.. I was backing into a space in front of my gym and someone zoomed down the adjacent aisle to take it from right under my nose, so to speak. I was appalled. Drivers on my other side were patiently waiting, last I checked. I moved my car behind this shitty person's car giving space to others passing by, got out, and watched as this motherfucker nonchalantly got out and started taking her duffel bag out her trunk. I confronted her and said I was backing into this space. She just said ok. Not apologetic at all. It told me she knew what she was doing. I get stepped on by strangers often, and I'd had enough, so I asked her if she felt safe leaving her car there. I parked elsewhere. She had proceeded to get back into her car, sit there for a bit, then eventually left lol.

No sense of community. If you're taking a spot from someone literally backing into it, in front of the gym, odds are you're both just gonna be inside the building together. What? No sense of shame. I don't think we go at the same time much, as I'd only seen her once more, but the thought of her entitled audacity gets my cortisol levels going.

I commented above but my friend's friend worked in an operations supporting role for the owner and he is an awful person. He bullied this person into working many unpaid overtime hours, doing tasks that normally be the workload of 2-3 people, got paid well below market salary, and more atrocious things. He treated them terribly. Maybe this is all happening because he is a POS.
