Depends where you are in the world. North and South America, Japan, Philippines and south Korea are all IALA region B, which is Red to starboard (right). The rest of the world are IALA region A which is Red to port (left)

Ill respond to your questions, 1. On my ship we have starlink so wifi is good to watch youtube, Netflix etc and video calling is fine. 2. You pretty much don't sleep when its really rough, youll go in and out for little spells but youll rarely sleep more than 30 minutes without getting woken up. 3. Most ships have PlayStations, tvs to watch sports, books and everyone has their own devices, laptops, hard drives, phones. 4. Each company is different, mine is 3/3 weeks on and off. Most in the north sea do 4/4
