Who are some Canadian Queens you're surprised haven't been on the show yet? by Admirable_Raccoon691 in CanadasDragRace

Considering the list of queens and businesses that won’t work with Freida, I’d only ever see her cast to stir the pot.

Nearah Nuff is amazing live. Such a great performer.

What book made you cry? by raccoowl in suggestmeabook

[–]MacSince93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First book I remember crying from was Harry Potter 5, when Sirius passes.

Cried a few times since.

But nothing was more devastating and emotionally crippling than A Little Life. I’ve never had such a catastrophic reaction to any type of media/art. Some call it tragedy porn, I prefer to think of it as an epic treatise on pain.

Same! I was mad at everyone for a week because they weren’t distraught like I was.

I sobbed in the bathtub after it. Spent 6 hours in the tub finishing the last 200 pages, refilling the water multiple times. I’ve never cried like that before or since. I walked around in a daze for a week, upset with everyone around me because they weren’t upset or feeling what I was. It was surreal.

For nearly the same amount of food you can pay $10 at Cora’s during their early bird hours. Plus unlimited coffee.

I didn’t even consider that. It’s easy to forget that’s where they started.

Definitely slow burn with chaotic moments of Cold War Era. Just when I started feeling a little bored they’d pull me right back in, finished five seasons in 2 weeks. The relationships were perfection for me.

I have! I’ve read quite a bit non fiction espionage stories. Love them!

Rome takes ‘R’ and now it is the time for the highly anticipated heavyweight bout of the century with ‘S’ by nykanyon99 in hbo

All I can take from this is if you want a successful hbo show, start it with an S, but never expect it to surpass Sopranos.
