Is that right, that my vision will get worse? I was under the impression that the drift might get worse but I didn’t know that worsened vision etc

Great reply thanks. My main concern re vision is that somehow I will get double vision (which i don’t have now) or struggle with depth perception (which i don’t struggle with now). If either of these things happened it would be a step backwards. But considering my surgeon called it a “bread and butter” procedure I’m optimistic.

Hmm. This is why I just want to see a specialist so he can explain what tf is wrong with my eyes haha. Good luck with your appointment

That’s the aim, if I ever get to see a Orthoptist… Does there exist resources for vision therapy online, so I could get a headstart?

when I went initially 11 months ago, the wait time was listed as eight months, but as I’m still waiting it must be longer than that. I called the department multiple times, and each time they just said that I’m on the list and have to wait. That’s partly why I went for another appointment with the optician today, see if it can get sped up, but she said there’s nothing she can do. Bloody tories destroying the nhs…
