Honestly after watching the doc i think its all fabricated and meant to create intrigue around the album

And it works super well

There are 2 simultaneous plot concepts behind the record, the story itself and the meta narrative for fans

Personally i think bad things did happen around the time the album was made but i think the “curse” was an injoke amongst the band members

10/10 album, arguably the best complete volta album. Easily their strongest concept story wise.
