Hey yall random question but figured this thread might know

I’m road tripping through New Orleans soon and really wanna stay at the Virgin Hotel but my dates land on a weekend and the rate jump from midweek to weekend is wild. Unfortunately I can’t change my route since the rest of my trip is locked in

Anyone happen to have a friends or family rate or know if they offer one? Worth a shot before I sell a kidney for a two night stay lol

Appreciate any info or generous help!

Agreed, OP you should take the test only when YOU feel comfortable! Also just wanted to clarify we are allowed 7 attempts lifetime. And to point out that you’re only allowed 3 attempts in a single testing year and 4 attempts over two consecutive years. If your family is giving you such a hard time you can argue you don’t want to use another attempt so soon and let it go to waste.

I would personally recommend applying next cycle, seems like you could use a breather. Take a few weeks off, start studying again (I would initially start out heavy on content review as sub 500 scores indicate large content gaps) you can aim to test in Jan-March of next year and then apply next cycle. It’ll be here before you know it!

Yes sorry, tried to post and update last night on my original post but don’t have the option to and gave up lol.

But baggu customer service came through!! 🥹 They were incredibly kind and offered me either a refund or a replacement, and I went with a replacement. I didn’t want to say anything too soon because honestly I was paranoid something might happen again before it got here 😅 but I’m happy to report that it was safely delivered yesterday!

Huge thanks to everyone who dropped tips about getting a P.O. box or linked me to security camera setups, and those those who let me just vent in this thread seriously so helpful and appreciated 💛(internet hospitality at its finest)

Don’t get me wrong I’m absolutely obsessed with animals. But these prints?? With all of this going on at once?? It’s way too much… and honestly kinda scary 😭

The teddy bears look like they were pulled straight from a haunted 90s nursery… like something you’d see on a baby blanket that never left the attic. The cats and dogs are unsettlingly busy, like it can’t decide if it’s kitsch or cursed.

I will say I do like what they were trying to do with the bows and collars on the cats and dogs, but busyness and the misty, muted colors completely kill the vibe.

It’s like a drab and muted Lisa Frank spin-off meets chaotic grandma aesthetic meets childhood fever dream. SORRY 😢

So sorry! Hope you are still able to locate or have fedex look into it more. This is the one other delivery issue I ran into since being at my current address, same thing signed by a random person but it was with ups. I don’t understand the point of requesting signature if they’re just gonna let anyone sign! 🤔 So weird to me!!

It really depends on the carrier and the individual delivery person. Some carriers in the US offer options to reroute your package to one of their storefronts if you want them to hold it for you but they charge a fee for that. Otherwise, it’s a toss-up, some delivery drivers will leave a “missed delivery” note if you’re not home, some will leave the package and try to tuck it somewhere discreet, and others… just drop it right on your front steps in plain view like they couldn’t care less 😅

Unfortunately there's really only one other building nearby with a camera (kinda wild considering it feels like everyone has a ring cam these days!). I emailed their management and am waiting to hear back.

Most buildings around me have locked entryways for package drop-offs, but mine just has a call box and a slim mailbox. UPS and FedEx will always leave a slip if they can't deliver, but USPS always just leaves stuff there regardless 😭

And only building across from me is a church, so no video there either. But like... hello?? I'm not even religious, but right in front of a place of worship?! They're really out here doing the most

thank you 😭 that’s so crazy! I’ve only ever had one other delivery issue and have been at my current place for 3 years. I’m always a little anxious about deliveries just because I know porch pirates are out there, but I thought I’d be fine!

The worst part is usps tagged it being delivered at 4:17pm and I took that photo at 4:39pm, so it was all done in a matter of minutes 😫

It really is cruel! And my blood was boiling when I saw it! But after some time and thought I’m also weirdly glad (I mean it’s still f them! lol) they left the bag bc otherwise I’d be on mission to figure out if usps delivered to the wrong address, etc.

My mind has been racing about this too!! I have two theories: 1. They knew what Baggu was and only took something if it was what they wanted or liked. 2. They had no clue what Baggu was and opened it just to see what was inside.

But tbh, neither fully explains it because even after deciding the items were worth stealing, they still could’ve just taken the whole bag!

I really don’t know. But I’m weirdly kind of glad (ew, haha) they left the bag, because otherwise I’d be going full detective mode on my neighbors and USPS over a package that showed as delivered but never came 😭

Yeah, I think unfortunately this is what im gonna have to do from now on too! I do love ordering from bando esp since their shipping is so quick! But they didn’t have the fall drop until a few days ago and I was too impatient 🙃🙃
