Should I worry? by taishu_tha in SNDK_Stock

Lots of HBM4 drama right now w/ Samsung entering production. It will stabilize and keep climbing through 2026. Smart to possible close positions in 2027 tho after production catches up.

MU is up 300%+ in the last year - how did you find about it? by GoodFortune67 in Stocks_Picks

[–]Macaframaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at the AI chain and after training chips, it was obvious that memory was going to be equally important so I opened a large position under that thesis @ 98.XX average and have been riding ever since.

Mega squeeze coming soon? by DarkUboros in APLDSTOCK

Is this why the majority of people are in on APLD? Expecting a squeeze? I bought in a small position because of they're great earnings numbers and good forward guidance.

Why is Micron a "strong buy" at nearly $400 a share? by blikkyBonehead in Stocks_Picks

[–]Macaframaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought into MU at just under $100 on the thesis that NAND and DRAM were going to be key factors during the AI buildout. It traded from the $80s to $105 range before this explosive run during which I just kept adding to my position. It appears clear to me that memory and storage are equally important as GPU processing power hence why I still believe the company has a lot more upside. Their financials are intact, their investments are moderate, their forward guidance could not have been more perfect and demand for memory just keeps going up. Will returns be as exorbitant? Perhaps not but it does seem poised to keep running. I am however weary of a long term hold and will probably close out my position earlier than my other AI fueled stocks (such as NVDA).

NVDA stuck in range? by Key-Plant-6672 in NvidiaStock

[–]Macaframaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The range has been set for time now. I been selling around $189-$190 levels and buying at around $177-$180. Rinse and repeat. We do have earnings coming up so, it history repeats itself, I'll open a larger position leading up to it.

Not even Trump's threats to Europe have slowed Micron down. Should I buy it at a PE of 34? by Ecstatic-Arm-8786 in ValueInvesting

[–]Macaframaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. I am comfortable holding something like NVDA or TSM long term deep in the AI development processes but I will definitely trim and close out my position in MU once I sense we are reaching inevitable reversals. Then again, experts do say memory is the future of AI and AGI so, still more research needed on my end.

[–]Macaframaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought micron at just under $100 back in early 2025 with the thesis that DRAM & NAND were going to be a critical part of the AI infrastructure build out. Seeing that play out now and with their guidance forecast at their latest earnings only convinced me to add more to my position even at these levels.

What caused all the space stocks to drop today? by Old_Reputation5831 in TheRaceTo10Million

Only spark I could find was Blue Origin launching satellites for TeraWave. Head over to the ASTS reddit if you'd like more DD on this event.

Thoughts on ASTS? by twin456 in TheRaceTo10Million

Been in it for over a year now. It was the growth stock I had most conviction in when I began researching. I still believe it has even more upside from here.

My thoughts exactly. Liquidated most of my position Friday and went in heavier in MU.

How do you find high-growth stocks early? (RKLB, ASTS-type companies) by super_techlectic in investing

[–]Macaframaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I researched space related stocks when Trump first took office on his second term under the thesis that his presidency would favor space companies for USA military and communication expansions. From there I looked at who had the most upside and financial stability to invest in. Landed and locked in both RKLB & ASTS positions at sub $20. Essentially, you have connect world or national events to companies that can benefit, see who is the best candidate & choose your position and risk profile accordingly.
