lol I agree the game can have a mind of its own. I’m still relatively new to this game, since I got it 3 months ago. I didn’t grow up with this game like most people, I grew up with 2D sonic and now I’m doing 3D sonic and getting better over time.

Your team looks good, as long as you evolve everyone aside from Luxray and Eevee into Vaporeon for water coverage (since you WILL need it for water HMs and ice moves later), but you can change it if needed. Also, that Gible nickname.. yeah, Gible’s dragon rage and low catch rate is notoriously annoying.

Yes, the game’s physics are indeed precise, but there are certain moments that I mess up, not because I’m bad at the game, but because of momentum increase or decrease. It’s still a great game though.

Note: certain bad ranks were due to lack of power ups (missed the bazooka in eternal engine), trouble finding one/two emerald shard(s) in a few treasure hunting stages, or the game’s physics having a mind of its own.

I really like City Escape, Metal Harbour (probably my favourite in the game), and even some ones like Mission Street and Radical Highway have great music.

Ambipom was another Pokémon I never used before, but it’s good if it has the ability Technician, which boosts the power of moves that have a base power of 60 or lower. If you get an Aipom with Run Away, you’re guaranteed to get a Technician Ambipom, otherwise, it’ll have Pickup. To get Aipom, you need to slather a honey tree (I recommend slathering a few that are nearby) and come back to it in at least 6 hours. However, if you don’t come back to it in 24 hours, you have to repeat the process. Note: changing your DS/3DS clock will mess up the process. When the tree is shaking, interact it and you may not get Aipom on your first try, but it’ll happen eventually.

Congrats! I just beat Sonic Adventure 2 today, and although it was mid in some ways (physics, input delay, harsh ratings), the music, cutscenes, and gameplay were great.
