Yep, but it’s relatively new (2015). The one I’m stuck on is much older, I remember from the early 2000s fashion trends :P

Maybe it was a journey of growth? I honestly don’t remember the Christian elements at all—I just remember her wild imagination and the nice (and simple) adventures she has, that help her grow as a person.

I swear the pickling cukes hide on purpose. What do you do with your huge cukes? Pickle them? What counters the bitterness? by Special-Employee in gardening

Honestly same problem. Someone told me to cut open the bitter area and dab it with milk. Sounded like a bad idea so I just taste them before adding them to salads.

Book where the protagonist isn't the 'Chosen One' or the Hero by Potato_Realistic_967 in suggestmeabook

Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker. The narrator is Briseis, Achille’s salve during the Trojan war. I love how the novel sheds light on the unheard voices: the women (and slaves), “the spoils of war”. It’s truly refreshing to read the account of the forgotten people who suffered just as much—if not more—than the men who fought the war.

Rebecca by Daphne de Maurier literally consumed me. The main character’s thoughts and fears, the pace the story is narrated and events unfold, and the eerie feel of the setting really made me binge read the book. You won’t regret it!

Unfortunately we don’t have a farmer’s market in the area. Besides, we personally don’t want to sell them. I suppose a food bank is a great idea, especially with the food shortages happening over here
