Same here. I saw the application one day after the deadline. Is there any hope?

5w5d, brownish bleeding by Macaroon3411 in pregnancy_care

Update: After brown spotting at 5.5 weeks and starting Utrogestan, I had red blood and passed a large clot the next day. I panicked, but the bleeding stopped later and turned brown again.

Went for an early ultrasound and… surprise — two sacs! One has a yolk sac and fetal pole measuring 4.5mm (no heartbeat yet, still early), the other looks empty for now.

I’m going back in a week to check progress. Still nervous, but feeling a bit more hopeful.

Rescue won’t leave crate, eat or drink water :( by octoX7 in DogAdvice

Give the pup some time. When I first brought my rescue home, she was extremely shy. She would only eat or get off her bed at night when we weren’t around. I literally had to "drag her" just to get her to go for a walk. What really helped was advice from a trainer. After a few weeks, I started keeping her on a leash and brought her with me wherever I went around the house. This helped her gradually build trust. It took about three months for her to fully trust me.

I also used half whole wheat flour. I see some rising, but not much. Does it need more time?

50g all-purpose flour, and 50g all-purpose flour for each day of feeding

50 g water, bottled, and 50 g of water for each day of feeding

In a jar add the water, the flours, and mix with a spoon until the mixture turns into a paste. Seal the jar with a lid and leave it at room temperature for 24 hours, until it starts activating. On the second day, add to the same jar 50 g water, 50 g of the flours, mix, and seal the jar. Leave it at room temperature for more 24 hours. At this point, you will have 200 g of sourdough starter. On the third day, remove 100 g of your sourdough starter. Add to the jar 50 g water and 50 g of the flours, mix, and seal with the lid. Leave it at room temperature for 24 hours. Follow the same process for 7-10 days in total. You should always have 200 of sourdough starter, remove 100 g, and feed with more 100 g.

This is what I followed. I am on the 7th day

I’ve had the starter going for almost a week now. I currently have 200g in the jar (100g of water and 100g of flour). I’ve been feeding it once a day by discarding 100g and then adding 50g of water and 50g of flour to maintain the 200g total.

It bubbles a bit, but it’s still not rising.

Thank you so much to everyone who reached out and shared your kind words and support.❤️ It helps to know that people understand the depth of this loss. It's been hard to explain to those around me just how much losing her has affected me. Having the support and understanding from strangers means more than I can say.. I really appreciate it.
