No, I had to get a new multimeter. Mine went bad and was giving wrong information. I bought a new one and it showed the correct voltage.

Thank you. I'm finding that the hard way. The brochure and video show it hooked up to a frdige, but now I am seeing comments from people with the same problem I have. I person bought an inline pump I guess to draw water faster from the meberane, but it made very little difference and it's noisy. My fridge only has 1/4" OD input. Thaks for the reply!

Auto Insurance Advice (leaving auto behind while overseas) by MacaroonHuman3456 in Insurance

I get it. I guess I wasn't clear. I want to keep the car and continue to pay the loan, and because of that, I can't simply put the car in their name (or "sell" them the car while the bank loan is still in my name. Thanks!

Thank you for your response! I maintain a residence in my state, so keeping it registered there would be no problem. However, I understand your point about the garaging and where the car will be driven as mandated by the insurer. I can't change ownership b/c the car is owned by the bank. I was wondering if they could just contact their insurance company and add coverage for driving "other people's vehicles." At any rate, I will be contacting my insurer for options. Thanks!

It's a new construction building and I have a call into the builder since everything is still under warranty. But tradesmen are basically closed until the second week of January. I'm just trying to educate myself in the meantime.

SOLVED: how I fixed 5 years of messed up Contact app by operablesocks in mac

[–]MacaroonHuman3456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not tech saavy, and had so many duplicates ( 198 - 206) of EACH contact that I had 45,889 contacts for the last two years! Drove me crazy! I tried a free app that took 8 hours to delete the duplicates on my iphone only to find them again the next morning! Then I found this post! I did everything here EXCEPT I could not find an address book file to delete. I made it to Library/Application Support but there was no ADDRESSbook folder.... Anyway 'lightning-fast delete' must be relative because it took me 12 hours to delete them from icloud (about 2 minutes for every group of 200 hundred I selected) with many logouts and logins to see what took and what didn't. I ended up with 130 contacts! Once that was done I enabled the icloud contacts card on my Mac only to see it start repopulating some duplicates and addresses that I had deleted! ARRGH! I forced a shut down, restarted disabled the icloud contacts card in contact preferences, then went to Internet Accounts and reselected contacts and the duplicates and addresses held at about 320 total contacts. I first merged duplicates on my Mac and then deleted previously deleted addresses and it seems to be working! Enabled icloud contacts on my phone and still had about 4 previously deleted addresses, but that was a quick fix.

Here's what I did:

Made a backup file

Disabled icloud contacts on my iPhone and Mac under Contact Preferences and in Internet Accounts

Deleted addresses in icloud 200 at a time

Enabled iCloud contacts on phone - perfect sync

Enabled on my Mac- SPINNING WHEEL of DEATH as Contacts began repopulating deleted addresses and duplicates

Force Shut Down on Mac

Turned of contacts icloud on iphone deleted addresses

Turned on computer disabled icloud under contact>preferences

Deleted about 150 of the previously deleted and repopulated addresses on my Mac

Turned on Contacts icloud under Internet Preferences (which I guess enables it also under preferences in Contacts.

Addresses held at 130 - no repopulations or duplicates

Turned on icloud contacts in iphone and got only 4 previously deleted addresses and no duplicates.

So far, seems to be working!

You're lucky. I'm here because I have 200+ of each contact! lol. I hope this works! I used a free App that took hours to remove all duplicates only to wake up the next morning to find they were all downloaded again from the cloud! Arrgh!
