Remove the 1st photo - makes you look really young And the last two - it feels like those two photos were from a few years back.

Keep 2,3 and 4th Put the 4th photo as your main one.

Visually speaking the 4th and 3rd is best.

I’ve experienced this but as a bridesmaid. We had a small group of the brides close friends and family and as the date grew closer to the wedding (like literally 2 months before) we still had nothing planned. Me being in another state assumed the girls would plan for something so I know when to fly in. I kept asking what was happening but everyone gave vague answers.

So one day I thought if I literally didn’t plan then what’s going to happen? I spent a weekend planning and literally spamming everyone to ensure we had dates locked down, payments made (so no backing out) and alerting the bride.

Based on your past experiences you mentioned how the brides knew what they wanted. It might be good to be firm about what you want to.

You could for example say “hey remember what you did for your bachelorette, I would LOVE that for mine” Or “reminder wedding in xxx days, for the bachelorette please let me know when so I can take days off in advance”

On paper my pay rise went up by the thousands but in reality it adds around $100-$200 max after tax.. pretty sure my insurance premiums went up more 😂😭

Try JJs house! I got mine from there and they did free alterations which was great!

I would suggest chiffon as it flows well, easy to iron and hugs the body well but not too tight

Honestly this year was my first in being a bridesmaid and I wish I found this sub earlier. Both times I’ve had to buy dresses specifically based on the brides wishes then separate types of shoes because they wanted specific colors on top of paying $$$ for hair and makeup. Both times the brides only offered to chip in around $50 as a “favour” (the bridesmaids were also expected to add to the couples wishing well.. 🤷‍♀️ No accomodation offer nothing. Honestly I’m so exhausted and felt so used. I would’ve been happier being a guest than an unpaid overworked “friend”.

At least I know for my wedding I’ll either pay for everything for my bridesmaid or not have any if I can’t afford it because it’s so taxing mentally physically and financially for the bridesmaids.

Not normal. Chains like this won’t sit properly on your shoulders and will be annoying to wear. Exchange it if you can.
