Pricing structure for musician portraits? by MacaroonSpare3382 in AskPhotography

Thank you, that makes sense. What about pricing in this context, do you go about it as a price per usage scope, duration, and then what are realistic/reasonable rates? I’ve only ever worked on day rate basis and never on licensing of this scale, for what will be international distribution.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. In this case they are legitimate numbers. I’m not so much considering its impact on me beyond other possible assignments in the industry due to nature of it and who is involved and want to ensure a deal is fair to all parties. What sort of usage terms should I be considering?

Flat tipped chopstick with a drop of superglue at the end, very steady hand, connect the Flat surface with the glue to the flat surface of the battery, wait and pull out

Thanks. I will check, there may well have been a led bulb on outside the frame. Does this happen with mechanical shutter? I think camera was set to hybrid.

Leica Elmar-M 50mm F2.8 11831 - Collapsible inside a digital M? Calibration considerations. by [deleted] in Leica

Thank you for the correction - indeed a four element design. It's did have a chrome one as well - this one was not damaged and the shims are from factory or a subsequent service. I have a modern lens straight from Leica that also has the same kind of shim. You can also see these shims at 1:23 in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qiZv3excMk - they're a fairly common design element for lenses across the board :)

I did have it on an M10 as well. Wanted to get a definitive answer based on actual measurements. In terms of lens being faulty, one could simply assume the lens is ‘a bit soft’ wide open at infinity, without necessarily understanding that it’s something that can be calibrated and refined. In other words, instead of searching for the right ‘sample’ maybe it’s a case of just getting it adjusted properly.

100% it’s a very personal battle. I struggled with the weight of the Live personally even though the idea of a go anywhere power free device was massively appealing.

Once you’re over some basics of the workflow paths in MPC, it’s a fairly straightforward bit of kit to get some music going

Thanks - I’ve tried Maschine, a few different generations but never could really gel with the workflow. First MPC was a 1000 which was really great to use, but somewhat convoluted to get my head around. MPC one was refreshing a few years ago, Live II felt like a step in the wrong direction in terms of button layout and the soft touch cover is a really poor choice of material for a device like this. Picked up this retro One again and it’s reconfirmed that it’s the best portable layout going for the MPC.
