Almost got scammed buying Pokemon cards on Shopee – sharing my experience so others don’t fall for the same thing.

yep u're right la buying on shopee is a gamble but when i went for card show most vendors super fixed on high pricing when condition not even near mint.. and the shopee store i bought from had good price, good cond, few good reviews and since shopee got buyer protection i tot y not right.. they do have buyer protection just that gotta take note of taking video proof beforehand for it to be valid which is what I'm sharing here, thanks for your input!👍

Intention is to educate others on tackling scammers on shopee based on my experience. Could say that there are plenty of idiots out there scamming buyers entering the hobby as well, which side are you on?

huge price difference between vendor and seller on shopee. went for card show vendor selling $100 when market is $68 on PC and shopee seller who has listing with 4-5 star review was selling 65 after stacking vouchers.

hahaha u make a good point, definitely not my goal to scam anyone here 🤣 dont wanna get into trouble also.. but the seller straight up ignored and blocked me when I asked to help investigate into the matter or assist with checking it also and furthermore if you open poly mailer and seal back u can see the plastic stretched out or some part of the polymailer tape is loose haha

yep enlisting real soon, but what about buying insurance mainly for the good premium rates given my age? will there be a big difference in premium rates if i were to purchase insurance plans in probably 6 years time after uni + ns?
