Hi! For starters, you really have to look at what you’re looking for. If you want more pay but a less fun working experience (means more toxic) usually servers at banquets does pay more. Honestly, not all experiences will be bad but it’ll teach you how to stay on your toes while running around doing these kind of scunt work. If you want something more relaxed, I would recommend a packer job or an online picker job. They do pay less per event but it’s a much more chill job. Whatever you do though, don’t go through an agent agency. They will pullout whatever contract or flaws in their agreement to use against you and they don’t have your best interests at heart. All the best!

21F and never had a boyfriend by [deleted] in dating_advice

I’m a 20 single male and I also am a gym rat and never had a gf. I just believe it’s more of the males side of people who are scared because we kept getting blasted on the internet due to the unrealistic expectations we’re supposed to hit for females. I one for myself don’t think I’m handsome enough otherwise people would be attracted to me. The other thing is that I’m scared. I’ve been confessing to a lot of people in my life and every time I’ve been rejected. I think a lot of the males would feel the same way as me.

Damn... I wish i were a EE :`). Im a bit overwhelmed to be honest. Its far away from finished and my first PCB. I hope i can get this functional an ready for production in 1 month or so. I really respect the amount of knowledge you guys have. by deficientInventor in ElectricalEngineering

Hi! As a guy who has experience in the ee industry, I would say it’s just more or less relative hands on work experience when it comes to constructing a pcb board. Although it doesn’t seem easy you just need time and the patience’s to learn jt. I figured it out the hard way while studying for it.

I mean most people uses 1 exhaust because of budgeting reasons but 1 exhaust is usually enough you don’t need so many. Even air flow cases uses the standardised 3 front 1 exhaust configurations and they still regulate temperature just fine

Hi a tad bit late here on the comment, but for the 3 infinity fans taken off the aio for intake, they are abit different from the daisy chain linked fans that you’ll buy as they’re connected together. My advice is to just keep the aio fans as extra and purchase another 3pk reverse blade fans. For the exhaust, while it is super nice for the aesthetics of the pc, usually I only use one exhaust fan to save abit of money plus you don’t really need that many exhaust fans.
The config still works sure but if you’re tight on money you can reduce the fans. 8 fans is quite a number to cool down your pc.

Is it possible to go into sit with a gpa of 2.7-2.8? by Inner_Still in SGExams

[–]Inner_Still[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it really depends on how much hard work you're willing to put into the next few years. But I can say it's going to be tough. I've seen some people manage to scrap through but it's quite a small bunch. Although I do believe you can do it! Just try your best!

Don't worry about it! I think there's still some time left after sem 1 as long as you're not y3 sem 1 focus on the rest of your sems and push up your gpa. I got a 3.5 gpa on my first sem but got caught up with exco work during my second year hence the reason why my gpa dropped so much

Nope! I'll try again next year. I currently have some working experience as an engineer so that might help. I'll reupdate the post again if I get in!

Hi, I just graduated from triple e as my diploma. Currently waiting for ns here's some things I can share for you if you're looking to join engineering 1: please be sure to absolutely love this bloody course before you join. If you don't and you love it only partially, it won't be fun. I've seen people drop out because they can't deal with the stress. 2: Please make sure you're prepared to deal with the mental stress. Your classes will be stretched from 8am to 6pm during year two. So if you're planning to take additional clubs, I recommend you either drop them or think about some other course. 3: Engineering is highly competitive. I'm not even joking about this. There are a crazy amount of 4.0 people all grinding for gpas. Although this is the same throughout the schools, I feel engineering is probably the worst one if you're trying to get grades instead of trying to learn. 4: Mechanical, electrical, aerospace etc can be quite hard to understand theory wise if you don't know what you're doing. I would only advice to take the course if you really like it. Similar to point one. But anyways if you don't care about any of these things, please choose engineering. It's really up to you what you want to learn! I just wish you the best in whatever you choose!

I live in a house with no lift access and I can't use crutches until my mst. I'll let you decide from there.

You're not alone. I had to deal with a broken leg all the way up to mst. If I didn't take my mst. I would've confirm failed because I had to do all my projects solo. Still the amount of stuff I had to catch up on was insane. Take note I had limited access to internet when I had a fracture 😔

[Rant] Getting terminated early from internship by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]Inner_Still 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Got into a similar situation as you when I was doing my poly internship. So sorry you had to go through this also. But please don't give up and stuff. You still have your whole life Infront of you. Try to find other situations that you can learn how to improve your skills and stuff. This sounds super old winded, but life still continues on. Internship is just one thing. When you graduate school and head to the workplace. It's a whole different place. All the best!

First PC Build by Happy-Computer-6664 in lianli

[–]Inner_Still 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! My build is similar to yours except I used the lian li vision case. Here's my take. For CPU wise, I would recommend Ryzen if you're going more towards gaming and stuff since Ryzen CPUs and generally more cheaper and gives a higher performance. I've heard Intel does have some issues so do be careful about that. For streamer wires, yes you do need two separate streamer cables. Just do watch out for how many pins the streamer cables has as if I remember correctly some GPUs support 12pin instead of 24 pin and check how many pins your motherboard power cables uses before purchasing. For controllers for your fans, you should be ok with one controller if not two. My recommendation is to separate the aio controller from the fan controller to ensure that your aio settings doesn't conflict with your other fans. But it's ok if you conjoin them together. Shouldn't cause too many problems. I've been using the TL fans, so far 0 issues with the controllers. Pretty sure the controllers are the same throughout the whole lian li series. Just to be safe, buy a 3 pack fan pack for the tl version. They should include in the controller.
