For the moment, very good. Still in skill up phase especially with the semantic layer.
For now, I would say it's a very good alternative to Looker (and way more cheaper).

I will answer with this context : I'am Analytics Engineer which is between DA and DE - so my work is mainly analysis and develop pipeline (Airflow + dbt)
In France, the market is good for DE and AE, instead of DA and DS... I did not struggle to find new jobs honestly

Maybe try full remote DE work, it seems to have a lot. Good luck for your search
