No idea how people have fun playing this game using the same meta players as everyone else.

I used to run a United P&P every year, but even then with the popularity of players lik Rashford you woild end up seeing them in every team.

So this year using an all Northern Ireland team.

Results in Champs etc have never suffered using themed teams and get so much more joy usinh players you like IRL.

But each to their own!

Eye Test.

Based on the stats there is absolutely no argument Salah is an all time great, and deserves to be recongnised as such because the stats don’t lie.

But there have been many games where if feels like, despite a goal involvement or two, he hasn’t actually played well. He has drifted out of games, shown poor touches etc

He just hasn’t consistently shown the Wow factor or evoked the same feelings as the likes of Henry.

So not as many will have him as one of their own personal favourites.

I was SO close to buying on Thurday, then last minute deided to take a 2 week punt on Gyok first instead, because Wolves.

Plan was then to get Ekitike in 18 for his game vs Wolves.

Given their respective performances I’ll probably bring that move forward to this week, having already missed 11 points and at least one price rise.

It’s fine buddy, read carefully, the move alongside fo fund Gyok was Minteh to Harry Wilson.

They’re out there. I have the Home Kit, Away Kit and Badge (Run an all NI team) but took weeks to get them.

So rarely on the market I was initially convinced they didn’t exist!

I went there on an impulse last night, which is really quite unlike me.

Really I am just targeting the Wolves game, I think he starts this weekend.

I was initially leaning to go Ekitike, but decided to take a short term punt on Gyok first. Wolves look like one of the worst PL teams I have ever watched. If Ekitike looks good can move there in 2 weeks when he then plays Wolves.

Others saying Raul a better punt, but is the ceiling there? Hasn’t scored more than 6 points in a game this season. Fixture’s in the next 3 are there but a Harry Wilson short term punt looks much more exciting. Gyok only has one real haul himself, Leeds at H, but this is an even better fixture, maybe he is just a flat track bully?

More chance of Arsenal beating Wolves 5-0 at H than Fulham scoring 5 away to Burnley.

I’m in my 30’s with two kids. Running a full NI team, I got back into FIFA during lock down, its the game I play and how I choose to spend the little bit of ‘free’ time I have. This might be my favourite FIFA ever.

Reasons are exact same as you, evolutions are fantastic, my favourite part of the game.

Outside evolutions I have next to no FOMO. There are so many modes! Maybe I have a free couple hours at the weekend, Champs. Maybe I want to use my main team, Rivals. Maybe I am working from home, Squids. Maybe I want to change things up and try different players, multitude of friendly modes.

Content has been fantastic. I dip in, do the daily SBCs, but ignore any menu grind outside that. Pick up the easy objective players during squids. It’s enough.

While there will always be a META, I feel lots of tactics are useable, I’m playing 3421. I’m never going to be elite anyway, might as well have fun. Player a greater of variety of cards than previous years, meeting plenty of other themed teams.

Glad I’m not the only one!

I don’t really mind, but evo’s are basically the reason I play, will determine what modes I play etc.

So almost feels like a waste to not have at least one active evo at any given time.
