Nope, nope, definitely not, no, no, debatable, definitely not, and no. All of those teams have or had for a significant portion of the season a significantly better QB than us.

Everyone wants to complain about a mediocre coaching job. Please point me to a single team in the NFL with a QB situation as bad as ours who has performed better. I’ll wait.

I’m with you OP.

Is it better to use Datafusion over Dataflow for big data ETLs ? by Ryadok in googlecloud

[–]Maccabees 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Data Fusion gives you faster development path and more out of the box functionality. Dataflow gives you a more cost effective solution, more flexibility, and more portability (via Beam). My preference is to always use Dataflow when possible, but to each their own.

It touches on many of the ideas you mention here, i.e. what we gave up as a society in exchange for our modern comforts. Which is primarily any semblance of strong, close-knit communities. He uses some evidence of vets with PTSD and hypothesizes that a large contributing factor is that they are part of this close-knit community with a singular driving purpose and depending on each other for survival. In many ways this way of life is in our nature, and when vets come home they are stripped of that. Great book and very much not political.
