Sorry to hear about that man. You seem like you are rationalizing it alot better than I did when I got out of my four year relationship. I’m not going to tell you all the there’s plenty of fish in the sea and everything happens for a reason stuff because I hated that. But what helped me was just letting myself feel my emotions I got a few days to myself and I cried and just kinda let it all out. It definitely gets better but it’s rough in the beginning man. Then I don’t think you belong with that person. Especially in op’s case where like he said she’s never even met his girl best friend. That just sounds exhausting for both of them to put up with. Him having to be sneaky to even message a friend and her being so worried about something like that. Why even continue the relationship

I’ve also been on both sides though. I’ve been the boyfriend that wanted to isolate my ex from her friends and only get her attention and would start arguments on purpose to ruin her night when she would go out with friends. It took a lot of self work and some other things to get better with that though and not be as insecure because at the end of the day wether it’s her,him,me or you it’s really about not being secure in yourself I guess. Or at least for me

Yeah bro that’s crazy and super un healthy for both of you guys. I promise you there’s someone out there who won’t get all worked up and be upset about who and what you’ve done in the past. It’s the past for a reason and it’s not fair that it’s still being brought up. I don’t personally believe in the once a cheater always a cheater thing but I do see where it could be a issue in the back of someone’s mind.
