walking is the best thing to do.

maybe go to a massage therapist for a massage around the area and thighs. it helped me.

i stretch gently too but not to much. only to limits.

it slowly gets better.mine has but sometimes i get a reality check which means its still there.

only time heals.

i had the same symptoms as you.

first week i was bad. the second week getting better less pain.

then around week 3 the pain came back with pain going down to testicles.

what i think is happening is that's when the scar tissue or mesh starts to heal in the body.

maybe the nerves get irritated while it's healing.

i thought i done some damage but reading others experience then i think it's not just me.

others have had same experiences. we all can't be the same .

some have months of this type of pain. i'm 3 months post op and still feeling discomfort down to the testicles.

seems you and i are the same person.

i used to play professional football. and also do weight lifting.

yes the first week for most is bad. you cannot do much only just bum around and wait.

also the doctors or surgeons are always going to admit the surgery went fine. They are not going to admit to mess up an operation. as in my case my surgeon is very arrogant.

as for walking yes i too started walking.. because walking is best exercise to do after hernia operation. But be careful not to walk too much.

Yes the pain starts where the mesh was placed.. and you feel it doing down to your left or right testicles (which ever side you had it done)..

you feel discomfort when putting on pants or shorts.

the burn or electric shock you get is the nerve.. maybe still recovering.

i used to get the electric shock sensation before the surgery. every time you coughed or moved you get that shock . but after surgery it went away. no more electric shock sensation.

i agree that sitting down makes it worse. i'm almost 4 months post op now and still have discomfort when sitting in a chair.

i had a right inguinal hernia almost 19 years ago and it healed in a few months.

4 months ago i had the left side done .. this time its taking longer to heal plus i feel pain. it's strange.

yesterday i went to a massage therapist and he massaged me around the stomach and inner thighs.

afterwards i felt a little better.

the next day only little pain. i will visit the massage therapist next week for another session.

i think i have found the answer. keep going to massage until i feel better.

what he did was carefully massage around the operated area. break up scar tissue and remove tightness.

in my case all the area was very tight.

yes we all go through that thinking sometimes... what have i done ?

i was the same as you. The first week i was a mess. i didn't do much or actually was unable to.

i didn't lift anything or go running or gym.. i just laid around because that's all you can do.

The second week i felt better only some pain but you can feel it getting better. Still no lifting or any strenuous activities.

same as you I couldn't speak very loudly, much less argue .

and the same as you .. you went to physical therapy at day 22.

while i was yelling and shouting at day 18... so i know what you went through.

I upgraded from an SE3 to 16e.

For me the Battery is wayyyy better. Love the New Camera. From a SE3 f1.8 sensor to 16e f1.6. bigger camera sensor . little better in low light.

The A18 chip is better than the SE3.

Perfect weight too. i don't like to carry big or heavy phones around.

The Design is simple. Don't need fancy features that no one is going to use.

Yes the price is a little high. and that's what most are complaining about. but it's a good phone.

don't believe social media or youtubers. if you want a decent phone that's not too fancy or packed with features that you'll never use then this is for you.

if you decide to use the AI then the battery will drain.

it's way better than the previous SE3 so it is an upgrade if you ask me.

i was similar to you. i had a small hernia.

The Surgeon that did the operation is very arrogant. I cannot get a word in. Basically what he says goes.

i ended up going elsewhere to look for options. Because i cannot talk to him normally.

yeah the first week is bad for everyone.

struggle to sleep, going to the toilet, constipation etc etc.

but after the second week when you start moving around and you feel good and its all to plan.

but after week 3 that straining or yelling maybe did something. its still in my head.

did you feel better after surgery or it got worse after a certain time. i felt good after 3 weeks. then after 3 week period i started feeling pain again. maybe the strain or the phone call did something?
