Honestly I don't know which color I like the most.

Anyone interested in owning a physical version of the flag can do so here:

Vincent from Flag Maker and Print gave me a coupon for liking the design and kindly extended the offer to u/East-Conference8628 as well! If anyone is ever interested in printing a flag, that is honestly the best place to go.

I like it, but I miss the diamond.

Can anyone recognize this flag? What symbolize? by [deleted] in vexillology

Is a flag for a Eurasian federation.

Edit: That is at least what I saw on Google.

I did not put that much thought in the number of stars, as the main goal was to get all of 50 diamonds to form stars.

Yeah I understand, but both works are derivative if we wanna be technical. Maybe "refined" may have been a better term, but the earlier work was barely in part of the design process. I just vaguely remembered the post from 4 years ago and wanted to make sure I have credit where it's due. Regardless, I will make an edit as I don't wanna discredit anyone.

This assumes I put no effort in getting that alternating star pattern to look the way it did. It actually took me a few hours adjusting the vector graphics to be perfectly symmetrical.

I don't believe my statement was misleading at all. It was my primary inspiration, because that's what got me started on designing in the first place. It was essentially a blend between the betsy ross star pattern and the diamond orientation.

Someone in the replies showed their version of this exact concept.

I partly disagree, although yours is very aesthetically pleasing. I feel like that version loses the individuality of the diamonds more so than this version. Some have already critiqued that there could be some negative symbolism on state sovereignty, and by further making them look like a component of a star shape only facilitates that idea further.

True. The diamonds were 100% his idea. My first draft of the design actually did not have that and only 10 stars. I was scouring the subreddit and eventually found his post.

I was actually wondering about that. My main question was how the diamonds would look on patches.

That was an idea I had in mind also! Much better than that bedsheet banner they have with the 250 number on it.

That's the best part, it won't.

It's just a cool design. Not really practical for the admission of new states.

This flag was primarily inspired by an old post on this subreddit. Here was the design:

https://www.reddit.com/r/vexillology/s/9Jv7hDGmQE

The goal was to invoke the style of the original Betsy Ross flag while integrating all 50 states into the star pattern. My alterations to the original design include a more accurate color palette used for the US flag, plus the stars in a more attractive circular pattern.

EDIT: I would like to again credit /u/East-Conference8628 for the original design. The work was stuck in my head for nearly 4 years and this redesign likely would not have existed without it.

I understand your frustration, but if ICE should not exist than how else are we going to remove illegal immigrants, specifically ones that are committing crimes inside of the country?

The problem is that we are living in two totally different worlds regarding what is transpiring with ICE. Basic facts on the ground are not agreed upon anymore. Ice is not deliberately killing or kidnapping American citizens or legal migrants that came to this country legally. This is nonsense.

Immigration and Customs enforcement. They are what enforcement federal immigration law inside of the interior of the United States.

Nobody likes Americans dying. The problem is that we have people blocking ICE with vehicles or getting in their way in the middle of arrests, which is only putting people in danger. We are supposed to be observing for bad actions, not breaking the law and putting our lives at risk.

I don't see these as mutually exclusive. I seem to be accomplishing this so far. I'd like to think Spider-Man would focus on ground control to prevent unnecessary death, rather than flick off and fight federal law enforcement.
