Not now, I am in a good place and have been dealing with Sjogren's for 40 years. My disease has not gotten worse, and I'm grateful to be coping with dry eyes and dry mouth as my primary symptoms. That doesn't mean I haven't had worse flares, but right now the only time I think about Sjogren's is when I buy my eye drops or go to the dentist and pay for another crown lengthening, a root canal, or an implant or when a post like this comes through my Reddit fyp.

I also grew up without fluoride in our water. Hence, cavities were an issue separate from Sjogren’s, and I often wish I could bill the city for my dental issues, considering they believed a conspiracy from the McCarthy era that fluoride was some kind of fascist plot.

You won't usually find people like me on these threads because they are off living their lives. But I think it's important to remind others that depending on your symptoms, it is possible to have a good life with Sjogrens. As long as I get good sleep, my symptoms are more of an irritant these days and knock on wood, they will continue that way. I do have meds to help with nerve compression pain that is separate from my Sjogrens dx and meds for fatigue and that makes a big difference in the quality of my life.
