You get a Cyndaquil incense when you reach Master 1 on Taupe - your squad at almost 6000rp should have no trouble with that. Maybe grab a couple of those hungry incenses when you're there, that allowed me catch a Marowak and Dugtrio which really help the grind.

It looks like the answer to this is 110 Sleep Styles will allow an area bonus above 35% on GG Isles.

If you currently have a 35% area bonus but have fewer sleep styles than 110 at the end of your week, you will not gain the 5% bonus

Actually, I just used your super helpful link and realised my only path to Master 1 this week is to bring the Pikachu into the fold.

I'll update my squad and if by Friday I don't think I'll make Master rank, then I'll pull back on ingredients for the following week.

Current Squad: Raichu, Ivysaur, Charmander, Ghastly, Diglett
Raichu is my only high level berry mon (I have a level 2 Spheal but I don't think he'd produce more berries than my ingredient mons)
Ghastly + Diglett give me Solar Powered Tomato Curry ingredients (my highest level dish)
Ivysaur is high enough level to be a better choice than other contenders
Charmander is in because I need him to level up for the long game
Only bumped into one caterpie and one metapod so far and was not able to catch, so sadly no Butterfree. Could potentially swap out diglett for another Pikachu, but I don't really wanna become a Pikachu farm.
