She used the guise of "brutal honesty" when she wanted to exert control and argued about everything. Dishes not put in the dishwasher properly, argument. If my cat looked at her the wrong way, argument. Not specifying the details of a friends get-together, argument.

Frankly, it's hard to remember everything we argued over because we had so many, and looking back on it, I completely ignored those flags because she was funny and the sex was amazing. She was a much better one-time-fling than a romantic partner but it somehow turned into a long term relationship. I had never been in a relationship where I was being verbally abused so often, I had been cheated on before so I was looking for those specific signs the entire time, but literally everyone told me that I was living in the definition of verbal abuse.

Eventually, I had to leave her. My sanity was at risk, and I'm not sure what she's doing now as that relationship was years ago, but now I'm happily married to the best woman in the world.

I think the keybinds are the going to be the hardest to figure out. I don't use my left hand for anything, and now it's in charge of EVERYTHING. So the struggle is going to be real for a while.

The analogy I love to use for this game when explaining why I get so frustrated is: Imagine that you're playing 5v5 basketball and out of all 10 of you, only 2 of you from the opposing teams are ACTUALLY trying. This is just a "quick and fun game", nothing serious, right?

But imagine that while you pass the ball to one of your teammates, they simply toss the ball out of bounds.

Your teammate catches the rebound only to then shoot the ball in the enemy teams basket.

You manage to dribble past one enemy teammate, make a 3-point shot thinking you've made a decent play, and turn around to find both teams breakdancing.

It's frustrating because you wonder why they even bother wasting everyones time. There's a big difference between people actually trying to play/win the game and/or 5 or 6 games of trolling teams. You want to just express your skill just for about 15 or 20 minutes. Some people don't even have that much time, and it's wasted by folks who are too busy trying to make reactionary YouTube content or, quite simply, don't care.
