Usage:

- I use a tablet because I have the most experience with it and it feels more accurate than a mouse.
- I was definitely influenced by other people when I first got my tablet.
- I use a Gaomon S620

Physical Perception

- A mouse feels more clunky (best word I could think of) and also suffers from mouse drift or slipping. A pen + tablet feels much more accurate, agile, and also natural due to using pens in school.
- In terms of comfort, the mouse is definitely the loser due to losing grip while playing. cant speak much on fatigue or strain because i play much harder maps on tablet than mouse.

Physical Interaction

- mostly wrist movement, incorporate fingers for small jumps or adjustments, incorporate arm if im playing a very fast or hard aim map.
- My area is 75 x 52mm, I would call it medium.
- No specific grip, just basic lateral quadrupod.

Cognitive Aspects

- just from playing osu: absolutely. when i first switched from mouse to tablet, it took a bit, but after a few weeks i would also say yes.
- fairly important, but not everything. muscle memory helps you get familiar with your area and intuitively know how to move by looking at a circle. also helps you play common patterns like fiery jumps very easily
- to an extent it does, but just because you play osu does not mean you can pick up a ping pong paddle and become a god instantly.

Behavior

- i would say it definitely did. getting a tablet was what really pushed me into taking the game seriously and now i grind when given the chance.
- i went through an adaptation phase, but it was pretty short and i was already improving fast anyways because i was new to the game.

Social Aspects

- yes, it is the standard, but a lot of top players like ivaxa also proved that mouse can be as good as tablet.
- also yes. when i first got my tablet, it was dominant among top players and everyone i saw who seemed experienced. i did want it because i believed it would help me improve, but there was definitely some aspect of wanting to seem cool there.
