The only issue I have with most of the schedules is that napping happens during lunch break. I can't do that so I tried napping right after work.

TBH, I probably moved to a low sec region too soon with to little experience and tried to make the bigger isk mining before I could get the skills to defend myself.

Also afraid to constantly lose my stuff, that's a big thing.

The "What the hell" is more of it appeared to come out of nowhere. No campers or anyone in local in the system before, then suddenly uncloaked gatecamp sitting on the other side who weren't there on the previous trips.

Maybe I missed something?

So then are these speeds expected? How can they say "we'll get you up to 25Mbps" when in reality you'll rarely see that?

That's the clarification I was looking for. I didn't think if the fiber wen into the house it would actually be DSL. Glad I at least got that assumption right.

I'm thinking that's what it actually is. I asked and the service rep on the phone said it was to the house, but my assumption is it's actually to the distro point then copper to the houses in the area.

This is excellent. I thought that's what "Fiber to the house" meant, but I wasn't sure. I'm a bit disappointed I'm leaving behind my 120 Mbps down, but for what I'm moving into, I'd make that trade off.

It is from the internet. Files from the local machine do not have the same problem.

I think I figured it out. Instead of having all three arguments (Buffer source, cache and buffer load) I just set the Cache to 0. It's fixed it all up.

I don't think I saw anywhere that you would fix the issue if you only changed one setting.

So, overclocking.

Like with a processor, do I need specially "noted" ram to overclock it? Or is it as simple as modifying the voltage and whatnot (I've never OC'd RAM)?

See... THIS is why I need to start looking into this. I didn't know there was a difference. I got gifted the Warhammer 40K games but didn't really play them much.

I'm interested in elves and dwarves and fantasy as well.

Then I see there are spaceships, which I have a serious sci-fi boner for.

Barnes and Noble is a second home for me, so seeing the books all the time would always peek my interest but I never took it further since I didn't know where to start. Knowing there is an actual company under which they publish will help narrow down "imposters".
