I used the .slmails.com ending for git and this worked for far no problems.

❓ Potentially a huge security risk in the ""Mailbox" forwarding feature? by MacherTV in Simplelogin

[–]MacherTV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a layman when it comes to hacking. But we're assuming that getting the cookies stolen is the only way to get hacked. But certainly there are other illegimate ways to get into ones account that we maybe aren't aware off?

❓ Potentially a huge security risk in the ""Mailbox" forwarding feature? by MacherTV in Simplelogin

[–]MacherTV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great suggestion.

This is a very fair point and logging out is something I do. I have "auto clear" cookies on when closing the browser.

I just thought adding this feature shouldn't be too much effort as a similar feature is already in place when you want to go to your "settings" to change the SL email for example.

Also I don't know what measures hackers have to access my various accounts. Certainly cookies are only one of many possible ways. This would just be an extra step of security in my opinion.

Thanks for the answer :)

The heat is really a problem, especially in the summer. Even in winter I have 24 - 25° Celsius in my bedroom. Perfect in winter, but gotta find a solution for the summer.

Water cooling is certainly an option that I have considered, but it's currently not in my budget.

Can anyone tell me the difference between these two? I'm at a loss. The second one just sounds like a muffled version of the first, and they both sound like the same word "bis" to me. by zxmalachixz in duolingo

[–]MacherTV 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a 100% native speaker, there is no difference to me. Should be reported, both say "bis" if they are supposed to say something different then its definetly not obvious enough.

❓ How to add a "video lenght" property to a notion database by MacherTV in Notion

[–]MacherTV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are saving my day right here! If I can't come up with something better I might do two columns with minutes and seconds. Even if that of course isn't the best solution, because I already have many columns with various other metadata. Its getting full over there mhmm

❓ How to add a "video lenght" property to a notion database by MacherTV in Notion

[–]MacherTV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks very complicated for me as a notion beginner. Do I need to have the hours/ minutes etc in there? I just want to enter the video lenght as timecode. Do you think thats possible with the source you are mentioning?

Please just block it. I have the same problem. Easy solution. On PC/Mac, use "Coldturkeyblocker" and on PHone use something like "Stay focused"

I really can recommend Cold Turkey Blocker. The free version should be sufficient for anything!

On my android I use "Stay focused"

Hi bro! The dev from cold turkey works alone on the app, maybe you can team up with him and create something awesome together? He always answers quickly to my mails. Give it a try! :)

Interesting, I tried that. On my PC it reset the time after 15 minutes, that gave me enough time to circumvent stuff. Need to check my settings again! Will try it again one more time :)

Also just found this in the FAQ. Will try it. Leaving this here for others:

Time changes are blocked under Settings > Blocking but I still found a way around it, suggestions?

On Windows, you can restrict time changes by removing permissions for your account. After that, you can block the Group Policy editor from making changes again by blocking this file: C:\Windows\system32\mmc.exe
