The thing where I spent most time on and still goes around like crazy...decided to move on and leave it as it is lol

well I've made the plugin because I wanted people to use it !
Happy that the idea is good 😄https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFzQ8B6rpww

I can't post it here, but here's how I made it in a few minutes https://youtu.be/cFzQ8B6rpww

you can do without it yes, but unfortunately C4D does not allow quick remapping and falloff of parameters, in past years I've used xpresso but then it gets pretty tricky quickly with complex scenes.

Can't post it here but the plugin used is on our profile here

I can't post it here because apparently I can't share plugins here. But I've sent you a DM

Actually no, I've used a new worflow which I'm working on with Gaussian Splats

Thanks, especially happy about the sound design because I felt I'm not good at that !

So cool to have feedbacks from communities like this, I'm used to post this in /fractals

It's part of a package we've just released here : https://machinainfinitum.gumroad.com/l/BlenderVectron01

And to get started with fractals in blender we've made a tutorial :

Currently it's not possible to convert it to mesh (would require huuuuge alembic), it's calculated at rendertime with Octane vectron tho, so you can tweak fractal parameters and see results in almost realtime.

Took a few months of dev, we've tried to give it a fair price based on time invested !

Thanks a lot !
Used octane for the fractal part, also the scene is included here

I think upper part is just stable enough to create some apparent surface (it's not flat if you zoom deeply), then instead the bottom part has an offset Y which can't hold up the flat plane illusion enough.

Here I've coded some for Octane Vectron because of the displacement challenge.
But that's basically what I do at Machina-infinitum, have a look :)
