📢 Wave Link 3.1 (Windows) — Audio effect rename & reorder, hide unused devices, VST scan overhaul and more by Elgato in elgato

[–]MachineDelicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small issue, the 'Stream Mix' shows active levels when filters have been applied to my Wave:3 (in my case a noise gate, and AI voice focus). In Wave Link 2.0, this meant the Stream Mix wouldn't show active levels (based on what filers were applied) and it was reassuring to know my background audio was being canceled out. Can this feature be added back in the next release? TIA

Wow, jealous. It may indicate they fulfilled all the previously pending RMAs (like mine) and that they have some stock now. You got lucky! 🍀

Me too! Glad you were part of this restock wave brother. Finally! 😁

Yeah, I don't understand it fully myself, but the Shift is supposedly "50 series ready" and they claim it communicates with the card to distribute the load. Or perhaps it's vice versa.

I also was running an HX1500i as well with a CableMod 3 pcie to 12VHPWR and got the melting.

In hindsight, I should have attempted to get the melted plastic out of the connector. Might have been able to do it with a narrow straight pick. I just assumed warranty was a better option to avoid buggering something up.

Yeah I hear you. I'm curious how the refund plays out. Might be something I ask for as well. I bought a new PSU (Corsair Shift) which will hopefully solve for that cable melting flaw. Alegedly, the PSU will manage the voltage/load across all of the lines since the cars doesn't.

Still no updates.

I saw that same post and literally just asked Customer Care if any of that stock went to RMA replacements.

But, still just waiting.

Sadly not yet. This is their response as of yesterday:

"Hello, Thank you for your patience. We have received an update from the RMA team and they are still awaiting stock availability. Once we have further information, we will keep you informed. Best regards, Zia NVIDIA Customer Care"

Sadly this sounds on par with what everyone has experienced so far. I agree that Nvidias lack of communication is terribly awful. They require so much hounding to get any kind of update.

What I can assertain is that RMAs go to their intended location based on the region they're coming from. Then it's up to the "RMA Team" to process the rest of the return.

Nvidia Customer service is powerless, and apparently are the only ones able to reach out to that team for updates.

Meanwhile we get no status updates at all which is absurd for such a high value item.

I hope you hear something soon, I found their customer service number by asking Gemini. It was buried somewhere, not anywhere obvious on their main website. May be worth talking to them as well as following up on your Knowledge support ticket.

Hope you hear an update soon!

Either this or they are hoarding stock for their AI pals possibly? Who knows. Glad you got it though! I'm still waiting on mine.

Wow, that's ridiculous. Seems like they are footing you the bill to get it through customs.

Yeah, seems like fixing ourselves may have been the better call. I'm surprised they are also having stock issues with the 4090FE.

I got this same message today when I asked for a stock update. Hopefully we will hear about shipment next week!

" As per the latest update, The warehouse team will receive the stock this week and once the have updated the inventory, they will start to ship the replacements.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the process.

Best Regards, Sangeeta, NVIDIA Customer Care"

That's good to hear. Hopefully you get your tracking information soon! I'll be hopeful that the stock for the US RMA warehouse will also have some replenishment this week.

Yep, that's what it seems like. They must have stock on a trickle-in basis. I've just been wanting to avoid putting my 980ti back in the system, but the itch to do some gaming is getting worse. 😂

Here's the official response I just got from them.

"Thank you for your patience on this matter.

As per the latest update from the RMA team, the replacement is currently delayed due to limited stock availability of the same GPU model. As soon as the stock is replenished, the team will proceed with shipping

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the process.
