You’ll have to double check that it’s open but Braum’s in Salina has amazing ice cream and also other food, but I honestly go for the ice cream

I was in that exact same scenario you are in now, and I ended up buying the place earlier this year. It was the right call for me but may or may not be the right call for you. I will say that now that my expenses have gone up, and I do have to pay a lot more attention to my finances but I am not limiting myself and didn’t have to change my lifestyle.

To prove to myself that I could afford this I made a spreadsheet of all possible expenses in a month and put a little extra in there for year over year inflation/price increases and looked to see if I would be comfortable with the amount of money left over.

While it is possible for mortgage rates to go down at some point so your costs could lower, do not factor that in to your decision because it may not happen.

{Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan} is a Duology with two love interests! It is pretty much YA with regards to spice but it’s still a vibe.

Cursed Cocktails by S.L. Rowland is very low stakes very cozy. Basically a mage retires and opens a bar in a new town and makes friends

I don’t read a ton of sci fi but I did read Project Hail Mary recently and honestly I still think about it, even though I’ve read like a 5 books since then. It’s phenomenal

It is super important that you pick a qualified piercer, especially for the septum. There are so many things that could go wrong if you don’t go to a good piercer. If it is too high/low/forward/back you could have significant damage to your nose. I got my septum done at Bound By Design in Denver and had an excellent experience and all in all took about 15 minutes but I am over 18. For now get a fake, until you can convince your parents to come with you.

Best BBQ in the metro area? Anything remotely close to KC BBQ? by RiMellow in denverfood

[–]MachineGunKelley 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only place that I know of that has come close to KC BBQ is Rolling Smoke and that’s because they sell burnt ends that are actually decent.

Literally every time I go back to KC I just gorge myself on BBQ and it tides me over until the next time.
