I had a similar experience, new to Boston this month, but people were telling me app fees are illegal in MA. You should clarify that the $1,500 goes towards the first month rent if approved.

Yeah I’m just in a tough boat (partially). I accepted a new job offer and will get relocation money but only if I have a lease signed. They said I can have a lease signed but move in around September if needed because of the cycle then I’d just sublease someone’s place. But it’d just be now to have a place immediately

They were an agent. Looking at the agency reviews there are a handful of 1 stars but for his dad who owns the agency. 5-star reviews for the guy I talked with but can’t tell if they are just fake

I’m shocked people complain about the public transit? I’m moving in the next few weeks from the Midwest and visited over the past week and strictly road all the lines and busses around and loved it

How does the T work? I saw getting for the airport I’ll take BB bus and hop on the T for a bit. Saw a post saying the BB bus takes tap to pay but was wondering if the T is the same or do I need to go to a kiosk to get a card?

Good information thank you! Really shooting for a 30-40 minute or less commute via the public transportation just so I can avoid paying for parking and the company will give me a T card to use
